lil weasel
Windows 7 I installed Firefox believing it was 'better' than IE11. My problems started with: 1. Web sites say to enable Cookies. I follow instructions from Firefox and the problem doesn't go away. So I have to switch to IE11. 2. Samut's Uploader: The BBC (custom/default) are blank. Setting customs does nothing. I presume this has something to do with cookie problem. (Again, I have to switch to IE11) 3. TV Guide site: Listings never load, the Spiral keeps spinning. I did find that clicking on the "X" will stop the infinite load and display the listings. 4. Every once in a while the upper right "minimize", "Full page", Exit is covered with a Black Box that prevents using them. (So I use the right click.) Any Idea what is going on? Firefox site offers no help. Edited June 23, 2014 by lil weasel
Stinky12
Did you just install firefox or firefox was installed for some time? Try resetting it and see if that works.
sivispacem
Have you downloaded Java + Flash plugins for it? You'll need both for dynamic content. lil weasel
I have had Firefox for some months since my system automatically updated to IE11 and I was unable to re enable IE9. It is only just recently that the Black Box has appeared. I have updated the Flash whenever it requested (Yesterday). Regarding Java no that I am aware of. Just finished "successfully" removing old and installing new JAVA. No change with Samut's Uploader, the BBC fields are still blank. Stinky12
IE11 is consider as a Windows Update, to downgrade back to IE9, you have to uninstall IE11 and IE10 in "View Installed Updates" from "Uninstall a Program" located in Control Panel.
Th3MaN1
Try Google Chrome as well. The choice between Firefox and Chrome seems to be 50-50, you may prefer the latter.
