Custom created jobs to next gen?

Haven't read anything about it. But i think, it wouldn't be possible (verified jobs could be an exception)

 

But I'll recreate my best jobs on PS4 as soon as possible when starting on PS4. Hopefully I'm wrong and your jobs are taken to next gen like your character and co

I am pretty sure that all data contained in the social club will transfer. Your character, your stats, your awards, your jobs, your cars, your apartments...everything.

Same i really hope we can transfer because even if we re-create jobs they wont be 100% the same as original.

bumping - any new information about this? im looking forward to switching to next gen but if my jobs wont transfer its gonna be a tough decision.

They haven't released any information about what will transfer over yet. And probably won't do until it is rather close to September, tbh.

All online stats will transfer so why not jobs? I'm expecting they will, is there any reason they can't? Not sure why they can't be made cross platform from the creator unless contracts state otherwise.

now that you mention it, its kind of like when people were adding the 1 or 2 to the end of job links to play them on the opposite platform. that was painless and the job data transferred so maybe itll be easier than we think to port them to next gen. hopefully.

I agree, however it is more likely to be a december release for christmas.

My, probably too simplistic, thought is that the prop and checkpoint locations would be stored as coordinates X,Y giving north, south, east, west, Z to store elevation and then A and B to store the degrees of rotation horizontally and vertically. The map is going to be the same but with improved rendering so in theory the jobs should be transferable.

Here's an analysis:

 

XBOX390 and PS3 jobs can't be transfered because their seperate systems and someone could always accidentally have a trigger on top of someone elses.

 

Now, the probability of Last-gen versions of GTA V created content transfering to Current-gen is between 1 and a million. (One hundred if I felt encouraging) And the current-gen version of GTA V is certaintly going to grab the attention of, well, a new generation to those who never owned last gen consoles. I just don't think it'll happen.

I think the use of systems is a little ambiguous. There should be no issue about playing games cross platform, same way iPhone users can play against Android and OSX against Windows. The issue is with MS and SONY not wanting cross platform, which would include user creations. I read an article on a dev who would only consider releasing a console game if they were allowed to make it cross platform, can't remember the name of it though. If you mean systems as in PS3 and 360, there should be no issue, in terms of servers, then this would only be because MS and SONY want it that way.
