Need help with improving performance no CD

Hello,

I bought GTA V on the 360 about a week ago when it was 50% off, and I've noticed that the performance was pretty low.

I looked up how to improve it and all I found is to "not install the 2nd disc".

Now, I bought it digitally for download directly to the xbox so I don't have any cds.

Is it possible to improve performance in any way?

There is a performance issue with the digital version.

I recommend you to get the game on disc, as it has less problems (as long as you don't install the 2nd disc).

 

If you don't want to get the game on disc, you should uninstall then re-install the digital version of the game.

 

Both consoles have issues with the digital version.

Thanks for replying, but I just don't understand how re-installing the game would fix the performance.

Sometimes during the installation process, it's possible that certain files don't get downloaded properly or become corrupted, and re-installing it will usually fix it.

Reinstalling it should do it.

So re-installing should fix the low fps, long loading screen etc?

or at least improve it?

GTA V is capped at 30 fps, you might go under it if you're unlucky, but it's impossible to go over. The loading screen is the same length for everyone.
