Shouldn't matter where the car is in the thread. People judging should be trusted to just go through the entire thread, not the just most recent options.

Very true. The winner of the last Showdown was from page 9, we had two finalists from page 7... Before that we've had plenty making it through to the Finals from later pages too.

I just sent the OP a PM suggesting a motorcycle showdown after he is done doing all the cars. Just wondering if people would like that. My idea was to have two different showdowns one with Harley type bikes and the other being the sports bikes.

Anybody else think this is a good idea?

I'm not sure if you're just talking about the new sedans. If not, I think the Blade and the Panto are both fantastic new additions. But I agree that at least the new sedans are personally a little disappointing.

just count up the top ten with the most likes, it could be more though shooting likes to try and get it in between 10-20 finalist. more than likely you will end up with needing atleast ten likes from the way it usually plays out.

thanks. wish i didnt post in on the very bottom of page 5. feel like if i posted in first couple pages and somewhere at top or middle of the page it would get more love.

 

where and when you post certainly has a big factor in how many likes one gets. took me a while of color changes to find one i really liked and its nice to have someone agree on the color.

where it is shouldn't matter, realisticly it kinda does. they may be different cars and style but right now you have just as many as me and i'm page one. if even really matters cause it's for fun anyway.

Honestly, if your car's good enough it'll shine through irregardless.

 

In terms of making the Finals, to some extent it matters where you post but not significantly. We've had plenty of finalists, podium finishers, and winners from the later pages.

 

Usually when I'm going through the thread deciding on how many nominations will be needed, I get to pages 3-5 thinking OK let's do 8 nominations cause entries are getting less here, and then BAM there's a ride with 16 nominations, and I remember that if it's good enough people will nominate it.
