Honestly you see a lot more anti-tank people whining than tank people themselves. Hopefully the tankers get pissed enough to get it changed back. I want to drink those tears.

it will never be changed back and the only reason it stayed broken so long is because there were tons of other game breaking bugs they had to fix first, lol! No one with any ounce of common sense can think the tank wasnt greatly over powered, the only counter was a jet or another tank. all things must have a reasonable counter. Now your tank god mode time is over, time to learn to actually play the game as you will no longer get easy kills with a tank.

Why not? I've dealt with tanks before. I either go passive or take it as a cue to start up another RR run. It's not a huge deal and to be honest, it's all very amusing from the outside. Hearing people constantly whine on the forums while the tankers were content to sit in their iron cocoons was the most delicious irony. Anti-tank people called them all sorts of names while the people who enjoyed using the tanks said nothing in return, making the anti-tankers look silly. It was great, at least for me

dont know, but if youve ever seen a tank in this game before and dont have one why the f*ck would you want them to return to that degree of armor? lol! 3 rockets should kill one, 7 is way to many. 1 rocket will f*ck up a real tank. maybe if rockets werent slower than a f*cking tank or if you didnt spawn right in front of it every time it wouldnt be so bad but you die more than 15 times trying to hit a tank with 7 rockets unless the tank driver is asleep, lol!

I don't really go around killing people oustside of missions, only when they start it, but I did a gang attack earlier and used the sniper in that, it seemed fine - it was the normal sniper though, not heavy (although I wouldn't expect them to make the heavy weaker than the normal one, surely?), I even killed a guy with a shot to the arm. Maybe everyone was just on Bull Shark Testosterone?

I approve of all the nerfs mentioned in the OP.

The sniper was overpowered.

The tank was overpowered.

AP pistol admittedly wasn't overpowered compared to the other weapon classes, but it was OP compared to the other handguns.

 

how is the sniper rifle overpowered? do u not know the size and range of a bullet in a sniper rifle? could leave a massive hole through anything.

If a tank costs $1.5 million it makes sense for it to be overpowered, otherwise we might as well buy a f*cking NOOSE "tank". I'm not sure whether its been nerfed but if it has I think its slightly unfair, it is a tank after all and appropriately priced.

Its changed the online gameplay in almost everyway!

 

The tank armor has been severely lowered rendering it useless for anything other than trolling low levels who have only got access to small arms. f*cking annoying. However, the reasons for Rockstar doing it is understandable! 'I must admit I am a bit pissed that I paid $1.5 mil for what now has become a mule covered in weak armor plates!' Surely some form of rebate should be applied.

 

However, moving on to the point!

 

They seem to have 'nerfed' (and I use that word very cautiously) the whole weapon system. WTF! The heavy sniper (50cal) now takes 2 shots to kill a player unless you hit them in the head!!! The AP Pistol now does almost 1/4 of the damage it used to. Honestly what the f*ck is going on here!?

 

I managed to shoot a guy (who was in a jet) in the chest with the 50 cal. Now in the previous 1.13 state it would have killed him! (Rightly so to!). However, now it only brings his health to just above nothing! Complete Bullsh*t!

 

Now I have tried the other weapons too, like the advanced rifle etc..., and they have also had their power reduced!

 

I have looked at the 1.14 patch notes and don't recall it saying the damage will be lowered for the weapons! Why was the decision made to nerf the guns!?

 

I know these specific weapons have been royally f*ckED! because I have thousands of player kills with them and know there capabilities!

 

My question: Is this happenning to anyone else? If so, what do you think about it?

They did this because most GTA 5 players can't stand people like you who seem to think that freemode is death match!

I dont know what OP is going on about. The tank nerf was much needed, and even if I owned one I would still agree. As for the Heavy Sniper, I managed to bodyshot quite a few people after 1.14 and kill them in one hit, and the AP Pistol still rips through Wave 10 enemies in Survival, so I don't think either of them got nerfed.

You have to understand that there are millions of players who all have their own opinion. Tanks were considered by many to be overpowered. And now that the've been nerfed other people are not happy.

And as for the heavy sniper, it took two shoots before as well. Of that I am 100% sure. It depends on max health of the player you're shooting. Higher levels have more health.

I believe a tank should be a tank. I feel putting a timer before a player can call another tank (like most contact features such as mugger, mercs etc...) would be a far better idea. I also did state that I understood the reasons for them doing it. I think the airstrike should also have the damage greatly increased.

 

Free advice: Stop trying to infer things from peoples questions and just answer it (if you want). Because, I could infer many things from your reply about you, but I won't. Trust in my advice. You will be a happier person.
