Online Protagonist now uses more anims

Had anyone else noticed that the Online Protagonist (at least males from what I can see) have been using new animations? They have always used a grab bag of animations from the three protagonists from SP, but now sometimes the Online Protagonist will run like Trevor/Michael or walk like Franklin.

 

Could we possibly be getting the ability to choose our walking styles / movement sets for our characters?

It'd be nice to see. In saints row 2 you had pleny more options to make your person unique. Face of anquish ftw

Like it or not, that's their name. There is a (loose) story that revolves around the Online character.

 

OT: Perhaps Rockstar will add new movement animations and not just excluding players to SP animations? Suggesting we get to choose animation sets of course.

I want Red Dead style reactions from NPCs.

 

Bullets in Red Dead made people spin when you shot them in the shoulder. Shoot an arm and they were shaky with aim or used their less dominant hand. Leg or foot shots caused slow movement, limp, or crawling. Maybe NPCs of today's world are girly compared to the gristled old west...

Michael's walk is actually the way I walk in real life believe it or not. I get made fun of by my dad constantly for that.

You forgot the best part: Actual bullet wounds!

 

Also, we should have the ability to pick our character's main-hand. Left handed people do exist. (I'm not one of them, though)

Luis had the worst running animation.

 

The movement in IV and RDR was perfect IMO.

I would like to see dominant hand choice. That would be a potential game changer for some. And I noticed the damage is kinda varied...

 

Here is my character with some small calibre wounds to the upper torso:0_0_29.jpg

 

But HERE is an NPC shot in the head with a heavy sniper in Campaign:Screenshot_2014-06-05-16-56-45-picsay.jp

 

But, then the bullet damage to a Fugitive in an Invite Only lobby:0_0_82-picsay.jpg

 

I know vehicle vs body is not as accurate but for the sake of showing just how much we could possibly do... We need some kind of age verification so I can remove limbs with the heavy sniper or close range shotgun.

I recently noticed after going to the ATM in a 24/7 store, as soon as I hit right on the D-Pad on the terminal, the guy at the register immediately starts talking like he's being robbed (he says "Okay, okay, I'm going as fast as I can! That's all I have!") and once I exit the terminal, my character looks like he's putting money in his pockets. I don't think I remember that first part every happening before 1.14 and I also don't remember the animation of my character putting money in his pockets before 1.14 either, were these just added?

He is a 45+ year old man with a long criminal career, I'm sure he has taken a few bullets (I don't mean the common gameplay bullet wounds) in his past that would impair his movement slightly.

I just want some more switching animations.

 

Meybe walking out of the strip club, waking up, beating up someone, determinant on what you chose in the character creation

Why do you go to an ATM? Open phone, internet, Money and Services, Maze Bank and bank through the phone. I mean... maybe the ATM is faster as it would be direct to bank. But that's a good way to get killed.

According to the GTA Wiki, the online protag, will trade animations from characters from SP depending on the gender. It said that most male avatars share animations from Trevor and most female avatars share animations from Michael. I'd like to see a comparison video between online and SP, just to see how detailed it really is.
