And purposely doing the opposite of what most people want. Think about it:

 

1. A lot of people would like a clean Voodoo, instead we get a clean car that we can make look ratty(Pigalle)

 

2. Most people want better sniper rifles, melee weapons, and anti tank weapons. We get more pistols and rifles

Yeah I know about the bottle and the new knife but they are pretty much different skins for what we already had.

 

3. People are sick of super cars and we get a SUV, there are already like 20 of them and they are not popular.

Don't get me wrong I love the new sedans but how do we not have new muscle cars by now? A real cruising bike?

 

Either they hear us and don't care what we want or they are thumbing their noses at us.

I personally don't like the Blade and it is only one muscle car and no matter what options people put on it they are all very similar due to the stance that it has the ability to truly customize it is limited. I don't mind that for supers, custom versions of them are usually just paint and rims anyway. Muscle cars are as much art as performance, and they pidgeon holed everyone into a basic look. The Thrust is just ugly as sin, why not a FatBoy or a Goldwing.

They have this stuff in the pipeline already, there's a large back log of content waiting to be released along with patches and updates. What we WANT in terms of content won't have an immediate affect on what is released, but it may show up at a later date.

 

Rockstar doesn't just browse the forums and say "Ok let's make THIS car now!".

I guess I framed it wrong, I know they listen but they could have been adding other things that players have wanted for a while. Some of the things not any harder than what they have done in the updates we have been given. I never said they don't listen, just that while they are making changes they could have made more changes that players wanted than they have. Most of the changes they have made were to fix free roam. The vehicles are not a big deal, but how much harder can it be for a clean Voodoo compared to adding other vehicles?

This gets closer to my point. This is another fix to try and limit griefers, to make it harder for them. Many people wanted open lobbys that made it impossible to shoot other players ( which I don't agree with) and greifing is still an issue, but they don't make the change that so many people want.

They're listening, and they added important features in this update. Besides who wants a cruising bike ? The Dinka Thrust is an awful bike, we need more sports bikes, those are useful at least.

The impound glitch/cheat still works. Go up the lane way behind.Go to the 2nd bench,climb and hop over to the lower roof. Climb to the top where the police helicopter sometimes is and hide. Wait for the wanted stars to disappear,climb down and get your car without the police shooting at you and drive out.

its not about leaving the impound without police shooting.

drive out of your garage, someone kill you, baam *your car have been impounded".

 

now you have to drive all the way down to get your car. impound should get either removed or give us the option to have the mechanic retrieve the car for $500-1,000

But then again, they did use AlexSniperBullet's idea for mental state, and technically me as well by not adding super cars. Also, people were complaining about tanks, so they lowered the armor.

Again, changing numerical values and adding code is different than designing models and textures.

 

Also... First update gave us a van, dune buggy, safari truck... Next one gave us a 20's armored car, then we got 2 sports cars, a super and a jet, then we got a super car, a sports car, an SUV and a bike... And people are bitching that all Rockstar has given us are super cars.

I am thankful that Rockstar is ignoring the majority. Most of the "features" or "content" suggested would ruin the game or cause A LOT of backlash.

Rockstar doesn't have to listen. They use the Henry Ford approach: "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would said a faster pony unicorn llama horse."

That's incorrect.

First off, the impound lot is just part of the game, it's extra motivation to not die when driving your PV so it makes evading the police important and more fun as a result.

Secondly, bad sport keeps assholes out of my game sessions. If you play like that, then play with other people like that in Bad Sport. They want to create an enjoyable experience for the majority, not a free-for-all blow crap up for a minority.
