The ps3 and xbox 360 are almost 10 years old but because lot of people are buying consoles.rockstar decided to dumb down their game just to make the game playable on consoles.a lot of things which have been planned have been cut out due to console limitations.trees, interior, pedestrians, traffic etc.but the countryside looks awful.the desert is so tiny and the forest and farm areas are also so little.there are only empty mountains taking up so much space in country side and two small villages all due to console limitations.people should buy next gen version to encourage rockstar to make more dlcs which should improve the game by adding new areas, missions and lots of fun things to do.

The limitations didn't stop it. The excessive focus on graphics stopped it, a huge chunk of the budget was spent on graphics and "detail" over stuff to do.

Lol the PS3 can hardly handle GTA V. It's perfectly playable but it acts weird. Whenever I exit Online to play Single Player, I spawn as Michael. His Tailgater is always missing it's wheels, bumpers, and hood. And half the buildings are invisible. After a few seconds everything is back to normal. WTF.

You downloaded the digital version.

The retail disc works almost perfectly.

So the disk form doesn't have any rendering issues? At all?

I enjoyed it on ps3, But its really time to embrace it on stronger consoles in a better painted more alive world. Bring on "fall".

they didnt give us a dumbed down version of the game...they gave us the greatest game possible. Just because it is being ReMastered and enhanced to justify another purchase doesnt mean they held back to make the current gen game soooooooo much better. Other games cut sh*t too, not because they know a better version is coming, they decide to cut things with the intent to keep the integrity of the game.

GtaV on last gen is a damn MASTERPIECE...idc who disagrees...the innovaation and ambition that game has is amazing. Perhaps they shouldnt have told people like you, what their vision for the game was, but too put EVERYTHING in the game...we would lose more than gain.

GTAOnline on current gen will be able to further fulfill their vision...not just on SP...but especially with Online...just think about the concept of The Crew. Sooo much area...give Rockstar the chance to piece each living entity beautifully together..for Los Santos to Liberty City to ???...all in one drive. From your garage in Los Santos...to my Apt in Bohan, LC....the possibilities are hair-raising!!!!!...hahahahahahah

Disc space. The XBOX 360 version has 2 dual layer disc and they're both literally fully filled, they din't have enough space for many more things.

More or less, yes, WAY less than digital.
Although, if you have 7200 RPM HDD or an SSD, the game will be fine.
Having the default, 5400 RPM, it will be absolutely sh*t if you use the digital version.

Seldomly on GTAO, but in SP? Not at all.

Will the next gen versions support 32 players? I'm assuming the PC version will but what about the Xbox/PS4 versions?

seriously i am sick of people complaining that there is nothing to do.

- A campaign that is about 40 hours long and is totally replayable due to multiple choices in some missions.

- 3 sets of collectibles that would take you hours to collect them all.

- More strangers and freaks missions than main missions in most other open world games (there are 58 and watch dogs only had like 40+ story missions)

- Leveling up 3 different characters skills.

- about 50+ random events

- A tone of mini games that are so fleshed out that they could be stand alone games.

- Cars, weapons and customization options to spend your hard earned money on.

- speaking of money, there are 2 fully fleshed out stock markets and a fully fleshed out web browser.

- Periodical updates that adds stuff FOR FREE.

- GTA Online, with over 700 missions and its still growing. It alone could take up 100 hours.

Those are only some of the things i could think off the top of my head, there is much more and for 60 dollars. It makes everyone complaining seem like they are seriously asking for too much. The end of the angry joe review pretty much sums it all up.

I always thought that online files shouldn't have been on the disc, the space should have been used by SP content, and for those who want to play online, download the necessary from the marketplace, and both versions would be better, and would help Rockstar distinguish Online and SP.

I'm sorry, but even taking my time, it is beyond a joke to say the story/campaign is 40 hours. I can finish it in 8/9 hours. However the disc space issue was the main limiting factor.

You generally don't get anything from any game but achievements. They way you measure any form of entertainment is how much it entertained you, not the little badges you get in some game trophy room or whatever. I despise the day when achievements appeared.

There are lots of false positives here.

- 3 sets of collectibles that would take you hours to collect them all.

And driving around the map looking for shiny letter scraps is fun how? The only collectible that is actually fun is the submarine parts, as the location is partially given to you. It makes the exploration more streamlined and let's you appreciate the ocean beauty, which is a welcome unique experience from driving around aimlessly hoping to see spaceship shinies on the floor.

- Leveling up 3 different characters skills.

How is this fun? Levelling up occurs naturally as you move throughout the game.

- about 50+ random events

All of which occur in the same region all the time, not making them random.

- A tone of mini games that are so fleshed out that they could be stand alone games.

A "tone"? Golf and tennis. That's two. Not a ton. You can argue hunting is fleshed out to make it 3, but still not a "ton".

- Cars, weapons and customization options to spend your hard earned money on.

Are you seriously listing this as a fun thing to pass time post-story?

It takes 3 seconds to customize a weapon, costs nothing, and hardly makes a difference to the combat.

- speaking of money, there are 2 fully fleshed out stock markets and a fully fleshed out web browser.

Agree here, somewhat.

- Periodical updates that adds stuff FOR FREE.

And truly how awesome is that stuff? You mean a few generic cars that are just cosmetic swaps of previously existing cars. And weapons that are just model swaps of the same assault rifle? Oh, and some new clothes that are exclusive to Online.

- GTA Online, with over 700 missions and its still growing. It alone could take up 100 hours.

700 missions? You're talking about tstuff created by users that is just generic races and deathmatches and stuff, right? I don't think there

are 700 actual missions, like cutscene missions like the ones with Lamar and stuff.

In terms of post-story content, this game dropped the ball. I've had tremendous fun exploring the oceans, but I don't even get flippers.

The yoga minigame is honestly one of the biggest f*ckups in gaming history. So pointless, so frickin stupid. I think R* threw it in there just to con us. In pre-release previews they can say "the game features a yoga minigame" and people say "wow!!" then you find out it's moving sticks and pushing triggers.

Golf was a home-run. Detailed and good. As annoying as bowling was, I'm sure 9/10 fans would prefer the bowling to yoga.

The removal of the vigilante system from IV was awful though. That system was amazing and had infinite replay value, it gave as the opportunity to shoot people post-story, something which you can't do too well in GTAV.

I'd rather take billiards over yoga. I'd rather take bowling over yoga.

- First of all, the story only takes that long if you aren't playing it in long sessions, I've managed to get to the half-way area in about 12 hours.

- And what is our reward for each? A really short S&F mission, a clichéd alien car and an achievement... yeah...

- Not really, they're really short anyway so it doesn't make them much longer than the main story.

- This is barely used at all in the game, the stealth is broken, shooting makes near no difference and what is the "strength" stat even meant to do anyway?

- That are fully scripted and don't feel so random....

- F**k you for even thinking that, would any sane person buy a Yoga game?

- Yeah, because having a Golden Minigun makes me C00L!

- The second one doesn't even work if you have no Internet connection...

- Some new cars isn't a lot...

- 700 missions? I thought the only one there was Rooftop Rumble...

Not exactly true in good old San Andreas when you 100% percented it you got the Hydra that spawns on sweets house.infinite ammo,a million duckets and a Rhino.I`ll take these types of bonuses over a sh*tty ass achievement any day of the week.

We will be in the same spot in 2 years when the PS4/XO will be limitting devs. The reasons for this are the weak hardware and the dev friendly x86 architecture. Uncharted 4 will hit the limits, and by limits I mean that you can't get more out of the stronger console which is the PS4. Dev complaining will start sooner than with the last gen, some are already complaining. Some devs at the moment are dumbing down the PC versions of respectiv games, by not making the leap between the current gen consoles and mid range PCs so obvious, and telling that the console versions are comparable with Ultra-high settings on PC. I won't even start talking about High end PCs.

Edit: The gameplay/graphics gap between Current-gen GTA V and GTA VI,and by current gen I mean PS4 and XO, will be the same as IV to V, but well I'm still hoping for a SA to IV gap. But hey I should stay realistic here.

This. in fact, IV had pushed the PS360 generation to its limit during its time. Then again, GTA V had also pushed it to the limit with more content, but less details because it's a more optimized "push".

R* had even stated that they're going to push the Xbox4 to its limits with GTA V. I can't stop hoping that the console graphics will be at least on par with the PS4 trailer, if not better.

With Watch_Dogs being very photorealistic on the PC, I'd be mindf*cked to see GTA V bearing life-like visuals.

We all know:

GTA V LG>W_D LG

So, we might conclude that:

GTA V CG>W_D CG

and

GTA V PC>W_D PC.
