Right, so I've finally decided to give Online another go after several months off of it, sadly it seems like the billions I had ages ago from the lobby glitch thing have dissapeared, so I decided I may aswell start a new character, so basically I'm level 2 [i think] with only like 60 grand and was wondering what the best ways to make money/RP are?

Coveted,,,,i accidentally bought a 300k plane, thought id never make it back,,,but only played occasional 1-hr sessions for about 2 weeks after and, on coveted, stealing from armored trucks, and parachutes, and I'm back to 950k

I just played coveted today (first time in months)

 

BOY theyve changed that. was a good quick 18k, I didnt even finish it (died) and even that took 10mins.

 

Loads more cars/hitmen on the headland- not too much of a problem but enough to slow you down Got to cargobob, the crate had moved...ok....went to grab it....missiles coming at me from every angle so parked up to take everyone out first. back in smoking and beeping cargobob to limp home, then they send a chopper out to finish me off.

 

Unless the payout is double, i'll think i'll pass that one

lol Yepp. Forgot to Mention That. Yeah they have changed it, Even Rooftop Rumble too. Added more Hitmen.

That was mentioned before many times.

1. Stay away from public lobbies. As soon as you join invite only, sell a car like Baller or some gangster car.
2. Always look for Simeon deliveries and armoured trucks. Don't miss them.
3. Use motorbike or some cheap vehicle like Sentinel XS/ Sultan/ Elegy at first. Jester is your car of choice for next purchase. uy
4. Spend wisely. Don't buy supers unless you know what to do with them. Remember, that Akuma/ Bati has 99% of super speed for a 1% price. That will boost your skill of driving too, not to mention ability to squeeze in tight spots and do off-road on very high speeds.
5. Don't buy useless weapons: Special Carbine for starters is OK, AP pistol later. Stay away from any SMGs apart from AP and Micro.
6. Don't spam grenades/ explosives in missions. Two are more than enough even for Rooftop rumble.
7. Race for unlocks!
8. Team up and do missions. Don't miss those: Rooftop rumble, Coveted, Mixed up with coke, Trash talk, Defender, Extradition, Chopper tail, Base Invaders. It's >$13,000 each. Remember that first time you play mission, you're getting double $. Don't grind. Play it cool with variety, it improves skill.
9. Buzzard is an investment, tank is not.

About That, I kinda disagree with you. Buzzard is great for doing Missions and stuff but it sucks in free roam whereas a Tank is going to be your best investment to protect oneself in freeroam. It's good in Crew Battles but yeah Op is level 2. Its going to take him 1.5million and level 75+ to unlock a tank so....

It's about preference. Finding a new session will be always faster, than getting a tank, which is now nerfed seriously.

I used to look from both ends of the tank cannon, so I can tell for sure: speed will help you to stay alive. Even when I was on tank shifts, it was hard sometimes to get fast guys on motorbikes. AND it's harder to snipe then, I can tell from experience. It's better to avoid open confrontation by all cost,but when impossible put a distance between you and target. Snipe them, trick them, attack from above, hide your blip. This game is dirty, gentlemen are dead.

Buzzard helps you with missions: Crystal clear I, II, III, Mixed up with coke, Trash talk. And practice in Defender, there are two provided.

Yeah, the Tank is gonna get you a lot of money... not. Protect in free roam? What about guns and/or passive mode?

hotlapping Downtown Underground is an easy 2-3000 rp everytime you do it,and gives you a chance to check out cars you might not otherwise race...decent cash too

Freeroam is probably the most profitable element of the game now they've buffed RR and Coveted. If you've got a buzzard mixed up with coke is decent though.

 

I should add the caveat "if you're good at the game" i.e. consistently get the bounties, armoured trucks and even the HPV. Sell a baller to LSC every 40 minutes or so. I make loads of cash on my usual freeroam routine. People that constantly f*cking moan can't face the fact that they just aren't very good.

1. Farm the f*ck out from Golf. I've gone from lvl6 to lvl11 just by this.

 

Do Gerald's missions. F*ck you Simeon.

 

Do Downtown Underground race to unlock stunt jumps locked paintjobs.

 

Sell a Baller or gang cars every 45 hours. Target the Gang Peyote (purple/green/yellow in gang areas) It nets you with around $12k.

 

Find a friend/buddy to trade race wins to unlock vehicle mods at LSC.

 

When you unlock the first Survival, farm the f*ck out of it. Wave 10 = 20k + high RP.

 

Free Mode = money sucker. Stay away from it.

 

Level up your shooting stats. The more its higher the more ammo you'll carry.

 

As a "lowbie", Meth'd Up is the best mission for you.

you spend a sh*tload on ammo in survivals and if you dont survive all 10 rounds you barely break even...yes you can pickup ammo off the ground,but time vs. benefits I gotta disagree on this one
