For all the peeps that are for the impound system, tell me one reason why it's a good addition to the game because like others have mentioned, driving across the map is not exactly what I picture as fun IMO

Wah! There's a consequence for dieing with a wanted level! I bet you cried over paying hospital bills every time you die, too? I can only imagine how much crying you'd do playing some old school games where you actually lost ALL of your sh*t if you died one too many times.

Do you even know how much it costs to get a car out of the impound??

Hint: not much at all

 

as I said it's a consequence for getting killed by the cops for the wanted level. without something like the impound lot what's the point? Where is the consequence for losing? It's the same with the hospital bills. Italian features like bees what's the point of even making it so that your character can be killed? now I do agree that this should ba 2nd impound lot out in the country but, I don't think it should be done away with completely.

Maybe I should be more specific rather than get these dbag remarks, the main reason is just I don't wanna drive across the entire map if I'm in say Blaine county, that's just a poorly implemented idea.

 

 

If you're in blaine county then just steal a plane or chopper and fly to the impound.. or you could pay the insurance (and if that's a problem drive a cheaper car). I'd like to get a trailer up north instead of an apartment but it aint gonna happen

It's a good addition to the game because it gives you an excuse to whinge.

here's a thought if you're so concerned about calling mechanic for another vehicle while another is impounded you should start driving classy cars then. And maybe just maybe not drive a Zen everywhere just because its expensive and bullet proof. I personally have only one super car(infernus) and the vast majority of my rides insurance is under $900. The voodoo is $62 for crying out loud...

I swear the police hire tow truck drivers that were raised as ninjas - if you get a wanted level and there are no cops on your radar and you die in/next to car, in the short amount of time it takes for you to respawn it vanishes and appears at the impound, even when there are other players watching you die (usually because they shot you).

 

Instead of the instant impound feature, it should be loaded onto the back of a truck and driven (at a slightly higher speed than normal traffic) by the cops to the impound, giving you the chance to steal another car and give chase to get it back.

it's pretty cheap, like $250 I think.
