So, I just had this a minute ago. Stole an insurgent from a griefer, ran him over with it and drove aways.

 

Suddenly this message pops up: "Pegasus is claiming this vehicle"

 

I am like: "What, can they prevent these from getting stolen ?"

 

A few secs later I am forced to exit the vehicle, all while the little douche was driving slowly behind me, so he didn't actually leave the session or anything. He stops plays the sad trombone horn while sitting in his even more douchy Zentorno lol

 

So my question is: Is there an option to reclaim a stolen pegasus vehicle ? Because I had my stuff stolen in the past but never could retrieve it.

I let my friend fly my savage the other day. Not longer after I got the "your Pegasus vehicle has been stolen" message he got the "Pegasus is claiming this vehicle" message

I believe it kicked him out of the helicopter

Its MY boat, if I want to leave it at a harbour or little dock, I will.

Yeah, it would be nice if they prompted you yes/no instead of automatically just doing it. Or they could make it so you can call Pegasus and ask it to be reclaimed at any time, rather than them doing it on a timer.

first, the spawn locations........ hmm lets think, why not just spawn that bitch CLOSE to you. i mean like, the mechanic delivers cars.

 

then the reclaiming if you walk 30 meters away..

 

but if you by accident order something stupid from your list, like a shuttle bus or a stretch, then that bitch will sit there waiting for the whole session no matter how far you go..

what pisses me off is that pegasus reclaim my own vehicle as if i rent one for 200$ from them. IT'S NOT LIKE I PAID 3 GOD DAMN MILLIONS.

I think that when you call Pegasus vehicles it should be persistent and marked on the map, same as a personal vehicle. It should only disappear if you call Pegasus to ask for a different vehicle or ask them to move it back into storage.

 

And paying $200 every time you want access to your vehicle that cost millions in the first place is stupid.

 

Basically, Pegasus vehicles really need to work more like the personal vehicles and the mechanic.

 

There should be a LSC style hangar and boat yard where you can customise them as well, and those customisations should be permanent.

I always was until a recent patch. 1.16 or 1.17? the two patches which completely ruined this game. It used to be great, you could land your plane on a beach and leave it there for a later travel or escape. Great for Paleto bay living. Hide your tank in a barn etc. Rockstar thought they were being smart by removing your stuff after 2 minutes, great for them sucking 200 bucks off you but what they haven't realised because they are retarded is that boats don't disappear and if you order anything and can't make it to pick it up it just sits there forever and you can't order anything else. Not only that, the nearest airport is almost never the nearest airport, not only that, half the time you call a chopper a game spawned chopper decides to jump on your choppers spot just before you arrive and pegasus call to say oh we are sorry, Uncostar just spawned a crappy chopper ontop of yours, sorry about that.. Call again.. same thing.. Sometimes at the international airport you can fly around for an hour trying to spawn your stuff in. Like really.. what a joke heading into two years since the game was released. Pity rockstar are uncontactable and don't actually pay test the game so they probably have no idea it doesn't work.

To jump out press triangle on PS3.

When Pegasus reclaims a vehicle (especially a heli or plane), you can't jump out. The doors will lock and you have to plummet to the ground. Quite hilarious, I imagine.

 

You can exit the aircraft whenever you want to.

I had this in a buzzard i wondered why there was a guy near the helipad thought he was after me. i was able to parachute out though and have a safe landing , no nose dives the heli just slowed right down and hovered

Before the last patch when someone stole your pegasus after 5 minutes it would say your vehicle was moved back into storage, but the person who stole it got to keep the one they stole like an NPC vehicle.

I was able to give tanks to friends this way, and could have 3 out at one time after 10 minutes.

 

Now, when the 5 minutes is up they disable the vehicle.

That's not as annoying as when I was in my savage, got into it at the hosptial and it instantly said "your pegasus vehicle has been destroyed", I thought that was weird but carried on towards the tank in the session.

 

Pegasus reclaimed the vehicle litrally a foot before the cannon hit the tank, and the tank hit the reclaimed chopper. It's the only time I have ever rage quitted, I was livid!

Last night I got my Hydra and let my friend stand on top and I took him up high in hover mode. I stopped at a certain height and just hovered there while my friend started taking some selfies and suddenly the engine cut out and we fell to our death and it wasn't until we were already freefalling that Pegasus let me know they were reclaiming it. I mean, what gives?
