My favorite isn't on the list, but judging by the poll.. it'll have to go to Rocksta- oh wait, I'm not a fan boy.

 

Hard to pick between 2K and Naughty Dog.. but I'll go with Naughty Dog

Went with Rockstar North. Never been dissapointed by one of their games. Was close to picking Valve though.

Naughty Dog!

R* north is a close second, with Kojima productions in third (MGS FTW).

R* could have been first if it wasn't for GTA:O being filled with glitches.

 

Bethesda Game Studios

 

They don't make many new IPs but they put really great efforts to their games (Fallout and TES).

Not to mention that their games are mostly riddled with bugs and the fact that they treat a certain section of their fans like sh*t!

Although their games are still good, somehow. Maybe it's the storylines and the large amount of content.

 

I'm one of the lucky ones, Skyrim and FO:NV rarely freeze on my PS3. But my friends aren't so lucky. :p

I went with Sucker Punch Productions. Sly 1-3 were all great games and Infamous 1 and 2 were also amazing (haven't played Second Son though).

 

I may be the only one but Square Enix has published some good games over the years like Deus Ex: HR, Just Cause 2 and Hitman: Absoloution.

 

Some other Develpors I like are Rockstar North Valve and Naughty Dog (I love the Jak games)

Despite the disappointingly long wait for HL3 (and even Portal 3), I'll vote Valve. None of their games are my absolute favourites, but they are just brilliant and near perfect in almost every way imo.

 

Bethesda, BioWare and Rockstar North are the runners-up, in that order.

I'd vote for Rare, but they stopped being the behemoths they were 13 years ago...

Valve hasn't made a game in years...

Rockstar Leeds isn't on the list...

I went with Naughty Dog.

 

Bethesda, Sucker Punch, Valve, Kojima, Sega, SCE, Valve, Blizzard and BioWare would all be in my top ten, with Naughty Dog being number one.

In order for a developer to be even consider the best is to have more than one famous IP.

 

Rockstar San Diego has 2 while Rockstar North has 1. Maybe Agent can turn it around for them though.

 

Trust me there are other game developers who are better than Rockstar north. Bungie is better with there famous Halo games and their new 500 million dollar budget game called Destiny.

I aint going to vote (not yet) but i will say Rockstar Games and it Studios (North,San Diego and others) as a family are the Greatest Game Publisher/Developers in the Industry...They have the Legendary,Icon and Megablockbuster GTA,the Best Historical Western Red Dead,then Max Payne,Manhunt,Midnight Club,Bully and more and if they want Rockstar Games could help North (DMA) reclaim Lemmings,Uniracer and the early 80s IPs which are also famous...

Rockstar, 2K, Bungie/343i, Valve. I would like to add Bethesda and Ubisoft, but their games are just too buggy when they release.

 

Honorable mentions includes Lucas Arts, Realtime Worlds and Pandemic. RIP :cry:.

Lemmings? What the he*l is this? Did you just try and make a game that no one knows about big?

Manhunt? I give it to you that it was big but it ended at 2. Why did it end? There's only so much you can do on consoles that companies allow. Nothing special like GTA but nothing like lemmings.

GTA? The only game that WAS good until GTA IV. Any hardcore fan knows GTA IV and V is going in a different direction. If they wanted to make a different kind of game then create a new IP.

 

You must of not played many Rockstar games in the past have you? Some of them were crap. Some good and some great.
