Heists should all just be Creator created, heres why

WTF is taking so long? I'll tell you. Theyre having a hard time making the AI smart enough to be challenging for multiple human players. Immediately the community will get Heists, find the loopholes, and run over the AI for runaway cache.

 

After they release THEIR Heists, they need to open up multiple buildings and assets and just let us GOOD content creators make PvP Heists. Where we lay out the scenarios for the loot protectors, which will be a team of humans, and then the Heisters are on another team to come raid. Each Heist playset has 3 layout presets that the creators program in. The Protectors will be sent to a meeting room after the initial queue up and discuss which layout of the three provided they want to use as their base defense. Then they discuss how they will defend it and where they will position their human players mixed in with prop AI players the Creator also added. Even after a particular Created Heist gets popular, the Heist team wont know which of the 3 layouts they are going to face until they get into the mission, and they'll have no idea where the Protection team will add human players into the mix. Multiply 3 layouts times the innumerable amount of ways a team may choose to defend the loot, and Created Heists can feel new every time. Heists are NO RESPAWN, so if the Protectors kill off all the Heisters before they get back to the established base, they win. Once the Heisters kill off all the human protectors, they still have to get past the AI actors too and make it to base before mission time of 30, 45, or 60 min runs out. The Heist team has three equipment/vehicle options as well, so the Protectors wont know exactly which set of assets they'll face and which direction the Heist team will attack from when they come.

 

The success of Heists can ONLY work if REAL players are augmented into the protection team to use real time thinking and provide the Heist team with a legit challenge more often than not.

Heist will become PVP

 

Earlier thread:

"it all makes sense now that the heist will be integrated within Cops n crooks. That way It becomes more about winning the competition instead of money payouts and grinding when it becomes PVP and the rewarding payout goes to the winner."

That's not what's taking so long.

It's been stated that they're making over a hundred different, varied heists.

It's also rumored that they're giving our characters voices for the cutscene before and to help coordinate in the heist

The over a hundred was was stated in an interview with Imran Sarwar, stating that they were working on over a hundred diverse and varied heists

Waiting so many months AFTER release to release 100 different heists is a STUPID strategy. Release 25 completed, make more, release, etc. So many have already sold their copies of the game its taken so damn long. Its almost a year the game has been out. If they only ever plan on making 100 missions, and wait till they are all done, thats STUPID. Their reputation as a trusted studio has already taken a HUGE hit, they cant keep effing up one the advertised KEY ATTRACTION to Online.

If you can't find the source, you made it up? Is it CVG interview?

 

No I did not make it up. It was a pre-GTA Online, post GTA V release interview with IGN I think.
