Huge framerate drop (xbox)

Was just playing, and for the first time since launch I have seen some horrible framerate issue. I was doing the Mirror Park gang attack when suddenly a lot of players joined and the game dropped to around 5 FPS. I could still shoot and run, but menus were inaccessible and stealing a car would lock the character in place. Leaving the direct area froze my console.

 

Anyone else thinking one of the newly joined players was a modder spawning excessive amount of stuff into the game?

I've had this a few times, it's not a modder, I've seen at least 100 asteroids be spawned and the game ran fine.

If it's happening continuously, try re-installing the game.

its the bad hardware of a 2006 console

In the 360 the game runs sub 30fps, and when you zoom it goes to like 12-15fps.... Back in the time when this was my main game, i remember i booted my PC to play System Shock 2 (1999), and i was like:

"holeee effing sheeed!!! i forgot games were supposed to run smooth!!!"
