Why is the community so bad.

Not everyone in the community is terrible. I had some guy tail my car from when i left my garage to ls customs and when i got on the mic to ask him what the hell he's doing, he replied with 'i had my car blown up not that long ago and i saw you leaving your garage so i thought i'd try and give you some protection'. We played together for the rest of the game.

I've found it's the people who think it's some sort of goal to get there mental state to red. People don't like having less than full bars, even though mental state isn't a f*cking skill so there's no need to try and grind it by killing as many people as you can.

Alot of players i've met have swung around me in their paranoia because they think i'm going to rip into their paintwork with some wildy sprayed bullets, that's how bad people consider other people.

I go into public sessions still mainly because like with the guy who i started the post with, there are still some pretty decent people playing the game, people who aren't in it simply to gang bang everyone bloody with their 12+ crew and their shiny adders.

Granted, most of the idiots are usually screaming, obnoxious 12 year old idiots, but those are probably also the same people that complain about the game and how sh*t it is. If you weren't attempting to manoeuvre your tank barrel into the clothing shop i can see another player cowering in, then maybe you'd be having more fun.

5 kids with "Doge" in their name (those lucky enough not to know what doge is, its some cancerous "le funi meemz kekekekekek" )

 

Shouting down the mic in their tanks and what do I see where you get tanks? 2 Horrible merryweather mesas in pink with black stripes and custom tires.

 

 

Dont say something like "dont like it dont play it" to try and look cool or be a minimod

Get a jet and make their lives hell. Practice a little and you can easily decimate a crew on your own, tanks or whatever.

 

Or can you just leave the session and forgot about it.

No there is no request, People have to invite you

Well: in singleplayer, click start, go to online, play gta online, invite only session, viola

Now you can invite others when you are fully loaded in the game.

i wouldn't say so, but the mentality of 80-90% of the players i've came across in random freeroam lobbies are not that much different than what the OP is describing (the other players age doesn't mean anything). i only do solo sessions when taking pics, but when i'm not taking pics it's only open random lobbies only for me.

I've played since launch.

Only a couple of times I've been annoyed by a lobby filled with too many loud children. You should probably play public more often before jumping on an opinion about all players in the game.

A good portion of the community doesn't treat everyone else how they would have themselves be treated and blindly follow suit. I'm not saying people don't act this way in real life or other gaming communities, the difference is this community is encouraged to be like this.

It's not a community til you add good people. Me and (most) my friends are sound when we're in freemode, only gang up on people abusing tanks or the likes. Very rarely do we start sh*t with someone unless they're been mouthy on the mic.

 

I went through a phase where I used to go off rader to drive up to players on my faggio and sawn-off shottie them, sometimes they didn't even have a bounty.
