Without that very freedom, this game wouldn't be popular, and you'd see it in the used game section for $2.99 or have it get thrown in with your next happy meal.

 

 

There's plenty of unlockables and awards that suggest otherwise. And the freedom to be an asshole is fine except for when it affects those who do not want to be, or encounter assholes.

 

It's simple to create a system in which freedom can exist without negatively impacting other players.

 

One great example is non-contact racing. I had an awesome time playing with a host that chose non-contact all the way. It was so fun that I slowed down in a couple of races

because I wanted to race alongside them. That's the spirit of racing. To race with each other rather than to get away from each other. Unless it's the touge of course.

Lol well first, you think that anybody trolling CARES about those awards? Lol lemme tell you, my guess is they don't. The same way nobody cares about that 100 RP you get for killing red dots. Those "rewards" are minuscule in the grand scheme of things.

 

And most of those unlocks can also be achieved in DM, TDM, LTS, and all other PvP oreiented jobs. So why do you think people still play free roam? Cause GTA puts the "free" in "free roam"

 

If creating a positive system is so simple then, you can go create yours and see how well it does after 12 year olds and hackers and real life pricks get a hold of it. Please don forget there are REAL people that play these games. You can't always avoid your problems. In most cases your best option is to face them.

 

Edit: someone confirm this, but I'm pretty sure there are NO REWARDS or UNLOCKS for killing 3000 players with a tank, just to make my point.

Becuse their kids who have no idea of what's acceptable and what's not so they spawn in tanks and glitch money and stuff

And the reason why their cars are messed up is becuse it's popular to do it becuse of youtube and stuff

Not to mention that most of people on gta online are immature kids taking a break from call of duty

Same. Went for the first time in a long time to public... worst decision ever. Barely escaped with a positive K/D...

 

Had 30 minutes of full scale war. I never started a fight and mostly tried to avoid other players...

 

Invite only it is from now on.

Oh no please, don't get me wrong. I don't bother with the effort it takes to hate them lol.

 

I may not want to be their friends, but I don't hate them (even tho they ruin the game -.-)

 

There is a middle ground. At best I strongly dislike them :)

1 out of 10 players are alright. I mute all the kids if my voice chats on Everyone but it's mostly just set it to Crew+Friends. Met a lot of cool people from having it on Everyone thou.

Bullsh*t, don't blame it on Rockstar. GTA V isn't some exclusive club only for cool people. It would be nice if parents wouldn't let their children play this game, but that won't happen, so we have to deal with it. Either way, it's not rockstars fault that the best selling game of all time happens to have some sour apples in its community.

 

Why are there so many shills on this site?

I agree. In my personal experience, there seem to be more kids on this game than actual age-appropriate people. I have nothing against kids playing this game, so long as they act mature, but they don't.

 

There's always some god-awful things coming out of their mouths. Nothing worse than a kid who cusses just to be "cool."
