Shooting down jets on foot

Can any of you offer advice on how to shoot down jets online while on foot? I have neither the minigun or RPG. Are conventional weapons powerful enough to take down a jet?

heavy sniper works best, don't even need to aim for the pilot you can just shoot his plane to sh*t
or aim for the rear wing flaps or whatever they're called to make it lose control in just a few shots

ow and those indian (I geuss) action movies are just priceless

As said above, use either sniper (preferably) the Heavy Sniper and just shoot it. You can take it down very quickly!

Experienced Jet users wouldn't be stupid to keep trying to kill someone who managed to smoke their jet. I just quickly fly back to the Army base and renew it. But good luck taking someone down who's good at using them. It's only happened to me twice since Online was first released.

The minigun will tear a jet apart if the pilot is a straight flyer.

 

For the time being, I'm having trouble with the palm trees in the street spawning really late. I'm on the digital release on xbox.

It stops me dead in my tracks and then it appears. They're pretty darn tall too.

You can use the heavy sniper but that only works on noobs & will just get you killed if the pilot is actually good. But I heard the Panto is pretty useful.

Use the Heavy Sniper, and try and hit one of the rear rudders. You can drop it with consistent body shots, but shooting the rudder will drop it almost immediately.

 

Same with helis, 2 shots into the tail rotor and that sh*t is coming straight down.

You wont shoot a jet down with a heavy sniper because most pilots will go repair glitch or use blind eye to replace the jet when they see the black smoke..

 

Heavy sniper is a great way to cause big damage though, but only if you are not the target, because if you're the target against a solid pilot who kills you in less than a few seconds after you respawn, you will struggle getting good hits on him.

 

Shooting the rear rudders will not doing anything other than cause damage, it doesnt change the control over the Jet, hell the elite guys can fly back to base with only 1 wing... so a rear rudder is nothing.

That's because good pilots make up 10% of the population. Most are garbage to begin with.

If the pilot is good he won't let you use the heavy sniper or anything, but as most people aren't that good with the jet the heavy sniper is the best, it does a lot of damage.

Try not to be in an open area or driving a vehicle, seek cover, just a tip.

Aim for the vertical or horizontal flaps with a heavy sniper. Tail rudder on most choppers. Buzzard, right under the main rotor.

For most "pilots" just stand in a tight alley between tall buildings and let them do all the work for you. For the aces, good luck.

ive not gotten a kill with a heavy sniper, pussies always jump, haha! but it does keep them from bothering you when you score a few hits and they spend more time going to get a new jet than shooting anything, lol!

You cant, period. Especially at a low level. You may make him start smoking but thats about it in <2 min he can be right back in a new one. Ive flown all the way across the city and back to the base with 1 wing multiple times, so a little smoke isnt going to take them down, unless its a noob jet pilot who keeps letting you shoot their jet, in which case they will prob crash before you take them down.
