Bullsh*t matches are getting old

When you enter a crappy match just back out and keep searching. I'm not gonna risk takin loss on some bullsh*t trap map.

the issue here is, you get thrown in and out of these sometimes for an hour before finding a good match...its so unproductive...

^100% agree!

:r*: Needs to add some sort of filtering system when joining a quick job, especially as the game evolves and more and more user created death matches are made.

I would like the ability to filter by R* created/verified and melee, maybe even forced/owned weapons as well but at the very least we should be able to filter out user created content as well as melee matches.

I just ignore the missions that pop up with, RP 10000000 or when it is in all caps.

Plus doing it with more than two other people is usually a mess but you just gotta keep trying if you love nothing more in this game then winning TDM's like me.

Someone with the ECB2 menu should make good use of it and join all of these matches and turn it around on the host. Put him on a stripper pole in the middle of the cage while the other players beat him like a pinata with $2k falling out of his ass with each hit.

Big thumbs up but these 2k should come out of his account. Rinse and repeat as needed untill the host never does it again.

Honestly you guys sound like you are in need of adding a couple of decent creators to your friends list. My friends list is 70% constant DMers, 20% Creators/DMers, 10% racers/freeroamers.

All I do when I'm online is do mine or my mates custom DMs, checking out their newest jobs has became some what of a thrill. One of my friends got verified the other week and I doubt that very many people went over to his social club page and bookmarked more of his jobs, I can tell you that Pier Pressure 2 ain't even his best job but its up there!

The Creator is a brilliant feature(when working) but sometimes(alot) the people using it are daft and do stupid things like fill it full of jets n miniguns. But for every thirty clowns using the creator there will be one that actually knows what there doing and makes good sh*t.

When people moan about seeing a custom DM on forced+pickups with the sawn-off as the forced weapon it baffles me. When the start asking for it to be put on Owned I usually tell them to leave. It's obviously not meant for Owned ffs, also when dumbasses get in a car placed in a DM and drive away from you. Again a problem with people. Rant over!

You can avoid all the garbage jobs from random by finding your desired job on the map and walking into the halo. This allows you to select host or join for that specific job, if you choose join you'll get put into a lobby waiting for players but if none are available you'll be the host. Just back out and walk back in a couple times and you'll eventually find a lobby with other players.

Another thing I've noticed but its not guaranteed is that lobbies that have already played through a job and voted for the next job will fill with more players faster than just picking a job from the online menu. I often do a race or parachuting by myself and then find a DM I like in the voting screen, vote it and then invite skill match players then friends then crew. The room usually fills up within a couple minutes that way, for some reason auto invite just sucks if you use it first.

the bitching isnt about legit user created matches. Some are good, but R* decides to throw us into "Runk Up 100000000,$1000000000" over and over.....and....over....and over.

Factor in a 45 second to 2 minute loading screen, then when you realize you have once again landed in "one of these" you have to exit lobby, 45 seconds to 2 minute loading screen...rinse,repeat....it gets real f*ckin old and a tremendous waste of peoples gaming time.

Regarding forced+pickup DMs...I refuse to do them.Youre running around the map looking for a rifle, carry only a sawed off shotgun...getting lit up several times by another player who knows the map better and has already scored the rifle/machine gun.Thats not a deathmatch. Its a treasure hunt where you get shot. Not fun.

Forced only is good

Owned+ p/u is good too until it turns into an RPG or sniping fest.

ive tried this. When I step into the launch icon and select "join" it puts me into an empty game with me as host....broken matchmaking mechanics

I understand all the beef about forced+pickup DMs, and they way you have to look for weapons, again this is a people problem. All my DMs are fairly small in size cause I'm a big believer in not needing to hunt around for ages. Same with the pickups on my maps, I try to always put a pickup right in front of where you re-spawn but if I ran out of placement memory space or someones just picked it up seconds before your never far away from one on my maps.

Sawn-offs are brilliant guns, I pair em with pistols all the time, all the good shooters choose to equip the pistol for headshots even up at the closest range against the most powerful shottie at close range.

Again this causes another problem that people moan about - "The map was to cluttered, I didn't know what was where!"

And I can't ever recall playing owned weapons where people don't resort to RPGs even when at shotgun range. So I refuse to do Owned Weapons and TBH it's brilliant that R* have gave us the option to choose different settings. I unlike the majority of the people on this thread have no problem(most of the time) joining a decent DM as I said a few of my friends are good creators and they always do Forced+Pickups. And I must have hosted my 30 DMs several 100+ times together. Always on forced+pickups to avoid Rocketmen, same-gun spammers and kids.

I couldn't agree with you more about the unfair DMs and the "Infinite RP + Cash" jobs. The people who have made these jobs need taken out to a field and made to think of a happy place.

Agreed. They need to limit lester's reveal in DMs too, can't stand players that spend the entire match using that ability. As for owned+pickups they might as well change it to rpg+assault shotgun if youre in a lobby with high level players.

As I've suggested to Rockstar 3 times for an automated response each time: please introduce a "standard" deathmatch that has the same settings for every match and add it to the phone job options. Forced+pickups, 10 minutes, 50 kills, random rockstar and verified map selection and, players can join and leave matches in progress. You know, JUST LIKE OTHER ROCKSTAR TITLES' DEATHMATCHES!

Spent an hour and a half trying to join or host a legit death match. Ended up with about 50 950kRP RUNK UP BS matches, two empty legit, one Rockstar needing 8 players stuck on 5. Del Puerto, with one other player. I did one user created that wasnt BS, but the one level 100 plus turned it into RPG fest because he couldnt shoot for crap. Im giving upon DM for a while and will try joining captures and turning them into death matches. The saddest part is all the BS cage trap matches had near full lobbies.

I was playing a good one yesterday, a death match inside the destroyed FIB building. I went 20-4, it was fantastic.

I wish there was an option to turn off some of the user made content or at least filter it out

the last couple of days

I have hit death match after death match that are more bullsh*t than anything

you have two teams

forced/picked up weapons

on one side the team gets knives/bats

the other team gets assault rifles, mini guns, rockets ect

the team with knives bats have no objects for cover while the firearm team gets cover

I've never seen such deathmatches. Guns for one team and knives for the others? Who made this sh*t? The creator could spawned at the side of the knives.

I have played a lot of deathmatches with hidden weapons where you have to get out of a cage or you get spawnkilled. You have to know how to get the weapons and then you can kick the hosts ass if you are fast enough.
