Bullsh*t matches are getting old

I wish there was an option to turn off some of the user made content or at least filter it out

 

the last couple of days

I have hit death match after death match that are more bullsh*t than anything

you have two teams

forced/picked up weapons

on one side the team gets knives/bats

the other team gets assault rifles, mini guns, rockets ect

 

the team with knives bats have no objects for cover while the firearm team gets cover

 

I have learned to hit the square button and view the map to see what is placed where and when i see this i now leave the match as soon as it gives me the option

 

I have started hitting races that were just about as dumb, ramps climbing high into the sky that were not aligned bumpy as hell ect

 

Normally its kids/teenagers playing them, but it seems like 99% of the random maps i hit anymore are these dumb as hell maps

I've played a few good user created races. They are the really long ones that take roughly 10 - 15 minutes to finish, and although I don't win much, I still enjoy them.

is there a way to filter them out?, when i play i use my phone and select random job, and have no control over the job i will get placed in, If there is a way to control if its user content or a way to block some of the rigged or stupid jobs please tell me how and where to find it

I don't think there is unfortunately. Hopefully one day they make a more advanced search option for jobs. I don't play much DMs myself but I guess you could get familiar with the DMs you do like by rockstar and join them when they pop up on your phone. Or post in the Meetups and Groups section on this forum and make a post looking for people who regularly play good death matches. That's probably your best bet if you really like DMs

Its not that i just want to play death matches, i like doing a mixture of jobs, thats why i use the random job feature........it seems like if i hit contract missions from the phone its mainly rooftop and coveted, and after the mission is done the players leave and start it up again.....random jobs has been my goto, to find players doing a little of everything.

I joined a racing crew (I like racing) and I get frequent invites to good tracks. I've also made friends with a few racers and so I normally get invited to good user created tracks.

I imagine you could do the same, join a Deathmatch or a race crew, maybe find some people who play these modes regularly and then you'll get invites to good tracks/maps

I think that R* once listed a " user created " filter in one the patch notes. Maye 1.12/1.13. But it was never added into the game.

 

Hah, yesterday I had 5 of those " 892738 RP GLTICH MUCH $$¥¥ " jobs in a row....

Yeah it happens to me aswell. Most of the time I select a quick job deathmatch, 75% of the time they're fight clubs, or so-called "money/rp glitches". The creators only know where the weapons and tank is hidden on the latter ones so they can get them while everyone else is in a huge cluster punching each other. Its been quite a while now since I last played something like Maze, Getaway or Biolab with a decent amount of players - I guess most of them are getting lured into these custom ones thinking they're going to get $1m.

Sucks when you wait half an hour hoping to get enough people to join a real death match with no luck so you try joining random ones. Then you get 4 or 5 of the 100k RP cage match traps, and those lobbies are all filled! As soon as I see the idiot title I just back out and try again, takes forever to find a legit DM full of people.

Reminder to self: do not play golf course created content.

Spawning six times in front of the enemy in an open golf course results in giving up frustrating cheap kills to the enemy.

The user created stuff has both the best and worst jobs available. You just gotta know who's jobs to look out for!!

Lol I cant help but find this funny, I think mainly because of the deviance involved by the creators of these cowardly deathmatches haha, give them an opportunity to make something which annoys people & is cheap & they will do.

 

I have never been in one of these deathmatches because deathmatch is garbage on GTA anyway with the nooby ass cover system.

I was just playing tdm & dm all yesterday and that annoys the sh*t out me when i go to join a deathmatch and it keeps placing me in those garbage ass created forced+puckups deathmatches that always have a mini gun or some sh*t like that. Honestly i like most game modes in this game but the only one i can't deal with is deathmatch. One nobody plays free aim deathmatches which are way more realistic, the spawning is atrocious, and last it lags too f*ck*ng much but they can be fun when i do them once in a while but not often.

I'm really not fond of those Spawn trap maps that are going around, I generally avoid those. Though one day with a crew member, we absolutely broke the map for the team that got all the weapons. One man snuck out, grabbed as many weapons as they could, broke back in, Distributed weapons. It went downhill from there. Tank used to guard the weapons? Stolen by an escaping Convict. It was a revolution! We even flew the Tank inside the 'Prison' with a cargobob, ended up dropping the tank on them where they were hiding. Didn't shoot them all into olbivion however because that spawning quirk that will throw you into the middle of the city happened to most of them, 1 escaped on foot i think. Overall though, that was glorious.

I Agree whole heartedly always hit square check map, if one side of the map has all the goodies bye, bye. If the title even contains $1000000 , runk up, rank up. Exit immediately.

When you enter a crappy match just back out and keep searching. I'm not gonna risk takin loss on some bullsh*t trap map.
