World War II update

Posting on another thread just gave me an idea. What would you guys think of a WW2 themed update? It would come with a WW2 fighter plane (machine guns only, no bullsh*t missiles or explosive rounds), some WW2 themed vehicles, an M1 Garand & MP40 and some WW2 themed clothing/uniforms.

 

I personally think it would be awesome.

I would like that! I remember someone talking about something like that when I was in school. I would love to ride around in a classic Jeep and have an M1 Garand!

Well the machine guns on the plane would be as useless as the Annihilator.

 

As return-to-innocence said, maybe it wouldn't be useless if it could drop a bomb but then we would have all of the "This isn't Battlefield" people crying.

like I said in somewhere... I'd like to fly a corsair with machine guns. Also a bomber would be very cool. As well as the p 51 mustang. Its just a shame that they would be breakfast for the laser jet

Best version of 'I want military stuff' yet, I'd love the plane no matter how useless the guns....

 

Riding around in vintage army Jeeps with old fashioned guns sounds kind of hipster to me. Not in a bad way...

There could even be a World War 2 game mode. I don't mean like deathmatches (although deathmatches can still be there) and such, but actual objective based modes. Have them take place out in the woodlands and desert areas. Stuff like setting bombs up at the enemy base or capturing an objective. Only the WW2 stuff would be avaliable to use in those modes.

Oh yes. When ever flying the Cuban, Velum, or Mallard I like to pretend I'm gunning other planes and people down. Maybe have it drop bombs instead of firing missiles?

That would be pretty epic. It'd make for an awesome game mode. One team could operate that while the other team flies Nazi fighter planes, trying to shoot it down.

I'm not German but did you know; a large portion of Germans did not agree with Hitlers Nazi views...in fact a lot of them moved to Britain and joined our army to fight against the Nazi's. They fought on the front line, in the air and even as double agents.

 

but anyway I don't like Germany at the moment because they beat Portugal in the last game.

This is an update that would never happen. It doesn't even fit in with the basic trends of the types of DLC that Rockstar release.
