RC Plane (Red Baron) or Helicopter like in San Andreas. Doing the mission with the RC helicopter when you needed battle against Zero's nemesis was loads of fun. Just thinking about this Mission alone I realise how much the GTA V Story Mode lacked compared to GTA SA.

Another thing that popped in my mind was an Aurora. 'Cept that'd clear the map from edge to edge in seconds....so pointless really.

 

The idea of a flying wing was not a uniquely German idea, most governments were working on a design similar. The technology used in the stealth bomber, including stealth, avionics, computer control, and tons of other stuff that made the B-2 what is was invented long after WWII.

Also, the Americans copied the idea shortly after WW2.. can't come up with anything original can they?

 

They saw some tech they could use...and they did.

We were still the first with a working 'Flying Wing' & the americans stole it, and used it for the B2. Of course the electronics weren't made in 1942, but the design & the whole prototype was stolen from us.

There are many planes I would like, but anyway. The lazer already covers the F-15, F-16, Mig-29, Su-27 and even the A-10 (seeing that the Lazer has 30mm explosive shells)

 

When we go for the jet option, the only thing I can see is a VTOL.

 

Bomber? Cool, but unlikely (would be dope to use them just like the Cuban 800 in one of Trevors missions to bomb some sh*t tho)

 

 

I really, really hope they will add a WWII fighter plane and that doesn't seem to be too far stretched.

But hey... with PC and mods=lots of planes

The one thing we could really do with is a STOVL or VTOL plane of some kind - there are plenty of helicopters, and planes to fit most roles in the game (outside unfeasible stuff like stealth bombers - because the one thing a professional car-jacker and bank robber needs is the ability to carpet-bomb a city block...), but a plane with the ability to land easily outside the limited number of airfields/landing strips in San Andreas? That'd be a hugely useful thing indeed, IMO.

The Osprey would be particularly cool, since it serves double-duty as a transport and a cargo carrier - imagine a cross between the Titan and the Cargobob, and you've got the right idea...

I agree with the Rustler. I eventually got to the point where I could flyover Area 69, pick up the five-star wanted level, then proceed to take down Hydras indefinitely with that thing. I think my record was 20 kills in a row or something. I loved that plane.

 

 

With all due respect to the Spitfire, which was a magnificent aircraft, the P-51 was the best fighter plane in WWII.

Yes the Germans were the first with a flying wing aircraft. Yes the basic design was used by Americans, but the B-2 is NOT a recreation of the Ho-229. That's like saying all cars ever made are a recreation of a Model A Ford.

 

Still stolen technology, which was used for further developments.

 

 

You do realize that the Fatherland was obliterated, its insane leaders executed or driven to suicide, and its sovereignty stripped away becuse of its heinous crimes. No one "stole" anything from the Germans; they pissed it away through their own stupidity.
