I can't believe putting a motorcycle in a empty car spot is a waste of space.

 

Why not two motorcycles in one car spot in personal garages?

 

GTA Online Players will have to store two motorcycles in the same spot in their own garages. That technique, players can store motorcycles without using up space for vehicles.

I thought 10 cars + 3 bicycles in a garage might the technical limit on how many different vehicles the game can render at once, but lobbies can have 16 different players, each with their own unique vehicle, plus whatever NPC cars are floating around so having up to 20 motobikes + 3 bicycles in a garage might actually be a technical possibility.
