Synopsis

Ordinary supermarket employee Quentin Ross is awoken by a sudden change of events. His brother, Hank Ross, is murdered in cold blood by a ruthless mafia family named The Angelo Crime Family, after he breaks the truce between the Angelo family and the Scagliotta family, which Hank has led for a long time. Hank requests through his will that he wants his brother to lead the family because a "big event" is going to occur and only Quentin knows what it is. However Hank dies before he can tell Quentin of the event. He is also conflicted with family, and other characters that may bring his role as a don down, and is drawn into a emotional and psychological journey.

Characters

Main Cast:

  • Quentin Ross - Main protagonist of the mission pack. Is faced with moral decisions as he is put in charge of the Scagliotta family.
  • Carl Matelli - A capo of the Scagliotta family and the duerotagonist of the mission pack. He forms a strong bond with Quentin and destines to protect him at all costs.
  • Nicky Paul - Another capo of the Scagliotta family who reluctantly takes care of Quentin and is jealous of his role as the don, as he has worked hard to get where he is and is jealous that Quentin simply inherited the role.
  • Sam Vinci - The 3rd capo of the Scagliotta family. He doesn't get caught up in conflicts and decides to keep his opinions to himself and just follows orders.
  • Tuco Vasquez - A cop in charge of the case of Hank's death. He creates conflicts and troubles, as he gets involved in Quentin's life and opens up clues to the reality of Quentin's 2nd life.
  • Wendy Ross - Nothing is known about Wendy at this point.
  • Chase Vasquez - Nothing is known about Chase at this point.
  • Adrian Herrnstien - Nothing is known about Adrian at this point.

Episodes - Chapter 1

 

"Introduction"

 

After he finds out that his brother has been killed

by a crime family called the Angelo family and has

led another crime family called the Scagliotta

Family, Quentin Ross is requested to lead his

brothers family, as requested in his will. With

little to no knowledge of the mafia, Ross visits

the Capo's of the family and spends his first night as a Don.

Eh, played the first two. Great use of cutscene though, i like it better than your previous mission-pack (about civilian war something, forgot name). Since this is introduction, it's ok to be almost all cutscene, though it had little hard gameplay in second mission because when player swaps seat, Angelo's started attacking me immediately and they hit player's friend actors who were (normaly) set on 'Must Survive', so i had to replay mission and immediately move when it starts.

 

Anyway, it was great, cutscene and animations were well done, though i somewhat see talking animations overused, it's not a big problem. It improved from previous work, the most interesting thing is development of characters and story. I think you mostly focused on this. It really adds on mafia theme, and i'm looking forward it. Also, don't forget about gameplay. Good work anyway, i will give rating after few more missions! :^:

 

[email protected] You better give him full feedback instead of writing 'I'm gonna play this' or 'Goodluck' what you did on many mission-packs around. Just a more respectful suggestion.

I played your missions, not all of them but few. now you'll be saying why first me? you're the only one from austrailia and you must be good in english. so as the user above me AnDReJ98 said, i am also with him. the cutscene angles and placement was great, english was expectable from you as i thought and was really enjoyable. there was no bug i saw in your first chapter to point out. well done.

 

*The following sentance was added lately* - Sorry for my misunderstanding, i watched that everyone in this forum have very good english, but their accent may not be good because there is alot of difference between talking and writing. some people like you have better english then mine, i am not saying i am very good, but still i think i have the 'understandable' english.

I had a problem with the first mission where it crashes at a certain point.

I'm not sure what caused this, i tried it with a modded SA and a clean one.

The only things i can say about the first mission is that it would be a good idea to throw in some variation when it comes to animations, the guards are both doing the same thing and that makes it look

kinda weird , in a way.

 

The second mission worked for me, so i finished it

There are a few weird parts, such as where they beat up the guy with the bat. They suddenly teleported in front of the guy and because the actor with the gun wasn't hidden

the guy also gets shot at. Like Andrej said, the part where you switch seats , my first play trough the guy got killed instantly.

Also, there was a really weird thing, after killing all the enemies i had to drive to the other side of the city, to kill a cop? Maybe you said something about this, but i completely missed it then.

After killing the cop there was a cutscene that showed the beat up dude at the airport(without text) and then i had to drive to the mansion

Besides all that, i really liked the dialogue and i think if you pay more attention to all the details you could create a very nice mission pack, the way they talked and acted is pretty immersive .

Really? I remember adding a cop in there, so I could use it to create the characters collage, but I'm sure it was a regular actor, not an objective.

Nah, you're right. He was automatically set to Enemy1 so he counted as one of the enemies you had to kill. I'll have to fix that soon.
