Golden Cars

Recommended Posts

Haven't put it on any of my cars as of right now, but similarly with chrome, it could certainly look cool as a secondary trim, depending on the car and how it is applied.

But also like chrome, it isn't something I would like as a primary color.

There is only 1 class of vehicle I would put chrome as a primary color on, and that would be the motorcycles.

Looks awesome on the 6X6, I also have it in my Roosevelt as secondary and used to have it as secondary on the blade

I agree that for some reason, it almost looks cheesy on many vehicles and, dare I say, "not good;" however, on the 6x6 is looks great.

Perhaps because it has the same allure as the earthen tones that already exist in the Respray categories.

Also, I should add, that there has always been the ability to create "gold," if you took the time to explore it.

Here's my 6x6 painted Gold with Sunset Orange pearlescent. I have since changed the rim color to Bronze, which looks much better.

Meanwhile, here's my Fugitive which I made early on in the game using a combo of a matte color and pearlescent (I forget the combination, tho... sorry).

For me, this was as close as you could get to painting a car gold back in November or so. ;)

I changed the pearl of mine to race yellow and it looks awesome with the sun

And a good replacement is feltzer brown and race yellow, but the brushed gold fits perfectly on the 6x6, looks like a truck from an Arab oil tycoon lol

Anyone else remember that game?

EDIT: Here's a pic of the Whiskey Ghost for reference. Not quite the same but still.
