Is bad sport the GTA:O version of prison?

It seems this way after my observations over the past 2 weeks locked up here, mostly all servers run rampant with gangbangers and wall breachers, with the outcome turning the bad sport section into a crime riddled slum. How can we grow from this? My suggestion would be to ultimately eliminate bad sport as a whole by rehabilitating the current offenders, Who else agrees?

More like Rockstar's version of sending you to stand in the corner. Never been there myself, but from what I understand you can still do everything you normally can in regular freemode. You just can't play with non bad sports, and you get a silly hat.

been there twice, once on accident because i wasn't paying attention, the second time by utter bullsh*t from being spawntrapped by reversing bulletproof whatever

its really bad, everyone has mics and are yelling nonstop, tanks are everywhere, supercar reversers waiting to pick you off, etc

I think it is good to keep them in their own little world. There are types of people who prefer to be outrageous and wild, they aren't going to change. Let them spawn kill, super car reverse, and tank grief alone together. Some people just generally have really annoying personalities and they will always be absurd and irrational.

Bad Sports Lobby is so dumb. This is GTA, even the Good Sports are bad. I don't get how they can put rules on who or what you can blow up. I understand insurance payouts, but Bad Sports Lobby is just a bad idea.

Yep. I wish the bad sport lobby was where you are stuck in the prison and had a prison cell as your apartment. You would have to do prison jobs, and once you do like 5 days worth of prison jobs, you can get parole where you can't have a gun for 5 more days but get to go back into the real game.

Been in there about 5 times & it basically is, you even get out early for good behavior.

Never been in there, but given the amount of PV's I have destroyed using the Jet I probably should be.

 

Even before this, I dispersed Contact Missions so frequently between any warnings (mostly accidental) that I have always been rewarded for Good Behaviour...pointless feature. but I do see it as the GTAO prison.

i am not sure what it takes to be placed in Bad Sport, other than i have saw the warning screen when i exit a rigged user death match before it ends, so i assume this is one way to get there

 

But to stop people from doing it often, how about a time out or probation time, where the player could not get online for 5, 10, 15 minutes

I have got a warning a time or two while playing one of the Call of Duty titles that made me sit in a lobby for 4 minutes before i could join another game

LOL! Yes...! That is the very impression I got when there. It was like being in a "prison-server". Can't play with friends outside (no visitation), no one does jobs in there (cheater make their own $), and my ultimate favorite part was how almost every other player in freeroam doesn't die (God mode). It's some of that "go play another game" material.

 

I still can't believe how I got put there. A cloud error occurred, my rank 113 was suddenly rank 1, and when I created a ticket for support from R* one night. The next day I found it marked "Solved", an I was BS and CP all at once. Thanks for the help, cockstars.

I was there back in November when you would get bad sport for blowing up just a handful of pv's, now you can blow up dozens it seems with no repercussions. It wasn't too bad then, everyone was still relatively new compared to now so I can't really speak on its current layout.

i have spend a total of 53 days inside bad spoet server and my experience was very different.

 

the first time was a 2 day sentenc back in october, the place was super fun, endless battles, tanks, jets, simply chaos.

 

i did all i could to enter bad sport again. it took me over 3 months blowing atleast 20pvs per session to finally enter bad sport again in february 15.

 

i entered on a 4 day sentence then my timer got glitched and i spend 51 days labeled as bad sport. the place was simply empty, 99% of the time i was the only player in the lobby. when i finally landed with people they were all robbing stores, sharing money and doin missions as that seem to lower the sentence.

 

i discovered how to glitch myself out of bad sport and joined regular lobbies while still wearing my dunce cap.

 

bad sport is the most retarded feature ever implemented in a crime releated sandbox game like gta.

Just double the length of time you spend in there each time you get sent in. I bet after someone's been in there for 8 weeks they won't want to go back for 16.

Bad Sport lobby. Pause, Online, Players, highlight "player name", commend for "friendly, etc".

 

If everyone in a BS lobby would commend one another for actually playing nicely your time goes down. This may not be so anymore. I have never been there myself. Just one person on my friends list blew up too many cars and had a couple hour sentence. Other players said he was "friendly" and he was out in about 30min.

I just love R* logic of this having a bad sport lobby in this game. The main point of this game is that your a criminal yet you get punished for it lol. If that ain't ass backwards then i don't know what is.
