Fastest muscle car in gta

I was just curious with the new "I'm not a hipster update" since they added new cars including muscle, I wanted to know what muscle car is the fastest and best performing, can anyone help?

The the Blade and the Gauntlet are sorta the new Entity vs. Adder thing. The Blade accelerates faster but if you're racing long and straight, the Gauntlet will eventually catch up and overtake.

I always found that the Dominator was faster than the Gauntlet flat out. But the Gauntlet has the advantage of being a little less wayward in the corners and has better acceleration. So in reality it could depend on the track. I can't speak for the Blade though as I havn't driven one, but according to Socialclubs it is the fastest.

I like my dominator and ruiner. The blade is a disappointment for me

The Blade is downright insane in terms of acceleration. It will set better lap times .. in a lot of tracks, but it is very prone to understeer. There are A LOT of instances where something like the Gauntlet for example will still hold its' weight a lot better because it's loose in the rear, but very controllable.

The Buccaneer is up there too, but sounds like a friggin' hybrid. The turbo's louder than the engine itself.

I find that the Gauntlet spins out on me a lot. I've had better luck keeping the Blade and Dominator under control. I think either the Blade or Dominator is fastest.

Fastest Muscle in the game was reported to be the Phoenix a while back, followed by the Gauntlet.

I finally found the Phoenix and upon trying it in races, it did great on straight runs, but heaven forbid you hit a corner.

I sold it and got a Gauntlet, which has it's ups and downs, but overall, it's been a consistent ride in every race.

I haven't looked into the Blade, and likely won't. I don't spend much time with Muscle cars. Glad it's available though.

The Sabre is probably one of the slowest, definitely the slowest out of the ones that people race. The top speed and acceleration are nothing special and it is just completely crazy in the corners, which always costs you

 

I find that the Gauntlet spins out on me a lot. I've had better luck keeping the Blade and Dominator under control. I think either the Blade or Dominator is fastest.

That is probably the Dollar sign lowrider wheels that are doing that.

The Bucanneer still has a higher top speed. But it has horrible acceleration stock.

Well since that is down to the acceleration stats as well as being able to balance the throttle to reduce wheelspin, you are probably still looking at the Gauntlet or Blade for that.

Well in reality the Buffalo S is a Dodge Charger so it should be in the muscle class and I always regard it in this sense due to its heritage. But it is officially for sports car on the game, and not a competitive one at that, because it is miss-classed.

For winning races I use the Ruiner. It has a good balance of speed, acceleration, and handling. It can get beat by the Blade or Guantlet in a straight line, but if the race has any corners the Ruiner makes light work of them.

 

That said, I love all the muscle cars in this game, eventually I'd love to have a garage just devoted to muscle.

The Phoenix has highest top speed but is extremely deplorable on turns. Your better off with its close second the Gauntlet. Gauntlet is the best all arounder on turns and straight lines. The dominator has the best turning and is drift worthy. Have not drivenn the blade yet. If your looking to race choose a Gauntlet. Lookin to show off, then get a phoenix, great body kit with a high spoiler. Lookin to go tokyo drift, choose the dominator, sacrifices speed for great handling.

 

The Vigero has a great body kit, all around good speed and handling but slower than the gauntlet, maybe faster than the dominator but unsure. Has a great resemblance to Doms car in fast and the furious near the end of the movie.Sabre turbo is just meh, no advantages or cons. Buccaneer has a great lowrider look.

That Dodge Daytona wing for the Phoenix just makes that car look terrible, I always just go for the cowl induction hood and the mid-range splitter on the front so it looks like the Pontiac Trans Am from the 1970s.

Honestly, it's irritating that Rockstar makes no effort to strike a balance in this game. There's no compromise, or risk/reward. Just the Zentorno, Elegy, Z-Type and now the Blade. You don't need anything else.

I have never lost a muscle car race to a Gauntlet while in my Ruiner. I have lost once this weekend to a Blade (took the guy in a replay of the race), but never to a Gauntlet. I race all the time, and find that people tend to have a car that is 'them', they can do no wrong in it, even if it's the wrong choice for that race. Maybe the Ruiner is my 'car', I don't know, you don't see many in races so I can't compare how well others would fare with it. But for me, I can say without a doubt that it works.

Yep. Would be my favorite muscle car in the game except for the pussy ass stock exhaust we're left with. It has pretty good acceleration and the highest top speed in the muscle class, and also handles pretty good, but it sounds like an old station wagon. I mean, seriously.. They gave it an option for a drag wheelie bar but it doesn't get a performance exhaust? When cars like the Emperor and Manana have one.. lol
