For lifted vehicles such as the Merryweather Mesa, Sandking, and Dubsta 6x6, which suspension o you prefer? Do you prefer stock height for clearance, or the lowest available suspension for a lower center of gravity? Have you noticed any difference and/or advantages between the two, such as for racing or for looks? Discuss.

Even though lower suspensions aid in handling (somewhat to none), I usually don't alter any vehicle's suspension

Most cars I lower for the aesthetics, but now I've taken custom suspension off of lifted vehicles and the Blade, because they're meant to be that high up. Has anyone done any testing to see if either makes a serious difference off-road?

For offraders? Tough call.

Vehicles like the MW Mesa which like to flip over might benefit from the lower center of gravity, but the lower the sus the harder it gets, meaning a bump which might otherwise have been absorbed might instead roll the vehicle.

I've never lowered an offroader more than the first 2, but generally I always leave them stock.

I never lower the suspension on any of my cars especially the trucks and s.u.v.s...

WHYYYY do they not bring in lifted suspension?? I'd pay 50k for a 4-6 inch lift on my Sandking!

Everything stock except the Dubsta 6x6. It just seems a little too high for me. But an off-road vehicle wouldn't be much of an off-road vehicle if the suspension got lowered. I would love to see a dropped Sandking try and clear a rock bed.

Stock by far. I wish some of the other 4x4s and trucks could get a lifted suspension.

I've added a second question pertaining to all other vehicles. It's pretty clear that pretty much everyone here uses stock suspension for lifted vehicles.

I will normally have custom suspension on most of my regular cars, the Sultan being an exception since the extra clearance helps on dirt roads. SUVs and Off-roaders, normally stock suspension unless I feel that I can afford to take a hit on clearance for added stability. The MW Mesa was a prime example of this, since with stock suspension it was prone to just falling over.

Offroad Mesa, Yes. Dubsta, Yes. Sandking, No. The first 2 aren't high enough already and the lowering from the suspension is not as bad. Mesa needs it to avoid rolling over.
