So has anybody else not froze since the update?

I have not frozen at all since the update but I have timed out once and I'm rarely in a lobby that is half-full. Matchmaking is spotty at best.

I haven't froze once since the update. I had it stall like it was going too but then it corrects itself.

I freeze once or twice every 2hr play session + times i get stuck in the clouds and have to dashboard

I still freeze every single time I try to load a bookmarked mission from the jobs list. Have to drive to the actual marker to play it.

...which I guess doesn't matter anymore since you still have to drive to every f*cking mission now anyways...

Haven't froze once since the update but I have encountered quite a few bugs. I sometimes get stuck in the cloud when joining a job, usually resulting in having to dashboard. When I kill a player with a bounty, there's a small delay in receiving the cash, my character keeps going bald if I win a race and there's the rare occasion I will get stuck in LS Customs when I try to leave for a few seconds, before the door finally opens.

Have only frozen once but overall (on PS3) the game is far more annoying to play and less stable.

 

Lag is the worst I have ever seen it, particularly with whatever has been done to bounties they can be On/Off a person for around 30s before this registers. Hand in hand with this, static objects/associated textures (how can you ruin these more?) are rendering far slower and I get more small freezes than I can poke a stick at.

 

Then do not get me started on the stuck in the cloud times of joining Jobs...at this rate I will soon have to play in an Invite Only Session by myself, utterly boring.

I haven't frozen a single time and no longer even bother with invite only lobbies. Previously that was the only place I could play for more than 30 minutes since 1.11. Everyone on my friends lists has stopped freezing also. I've had a couple 8 hour plus continuous sessions since 1.14 and left by choice.

 

I think at the moment its stable enough to beat my 18 hour session record if I had the stamina for it myself.

 

On the first day I got just one connection disconnect but thats nothing. I just wish they would tell us what the problem was now that they have found it and maybe a little apology for claiming it wasn't their end.

I've never had experienced so many frozen screens since this update came out. Every time i change to Free Aim the game freezes.

Yeah, occasionally, but not as often so I can still join a session and play for at least a little while.

 

Anyone else who has freezing problems, have you tried cleaning the disc thoroughly? I don't know if it's a placebo or not, but I've been at least avoiding a freeze for a hour afterwards.

It's funny because in the High Life update, I froze 3 minutes after getting into my first game, so far I'm doing fine

I have been freezing since GTA Is Broke As F?¿k Update (about February/March). Just froze now. Got treated to a stop/start animation for about 2 minutes before it happened. In the same session when I spawned, I saw 2 rusty surfer vans parked on the road, and a third one on its side with an npc running away lol.

Literally just now froze after finishing a mission. I'm sure the money and RP I gained were also lost too.

The game has a tough time saving RP gained, money earned, or vehicles purchased right before freezing, but money spent always saves instantly

I've frozen twice on loading screens, both during lengthy sessions. But other than that, I have not completely frozen (it occassionally hiccups), which is very nice because before this patch I would freeze at least five times in one-two hours.

It hasn't froze in the five minutes I tried to play it today. It just kicked me from every job I tried to enter, crashed multiple times, and at one point failed to put me in the lobby so I was walking around in a bugged version of Passive mode for about 30 seconds.

wow i must be one of the lucky few. i've yet to have my game freeze since i started. hope things get fixed for you guys and i hope i didn't jinks myself now.

I haven't froze since the update BUT the game has started rendering terribly in a lot of instances. Now, it loads in so slowly sometimes and buildings will spawn block by block, the street will disappear, etc.

Noticed the traffic will just disappear much more frequently. Game's been a lot laggier lately too, I'll crash into an NPC, only to be pushed forward and see that the NPC I just hit is still driving along like nothing happened. I kill someone for a bounty, it takes a solid 10 seconds to actually award me the money for getting it despite it being instant before.

Seems with each update, they fix one thing and end up breaking two others. It's not my system or my connection as my other games run flawlessly.
