Why does my crew member make more money then Me (the leader) on missio

Sooooo, whenever I complete a job with my one and only crew member, he always gets more cash afterwards. I did promote him the highest possible but I'm am the leader, shouldn't I get equal a cut? He is lower ranked by 4 or 5 ranks. Can't figure this out, anyone know?

If your doing seperate missions that you've done but player 2 hasn't, then player 2 gets more money because it's his first time playing the mission. But if you both have done the same several missions before, than I don't know about that.
