Remote Bomb doesn't work

I set up a remote bomb on two of my cars, the Hotknife and the Mañana. In three separate incidents, a player stole my car after murdering me. Once I re-spawned, I called the detonator with my cell phone and all I heard was a busy signal. The dude was still rolling in my whip and all I could hear was Nelson from the Simpson's "Ha Ha" WTF?!?? Rockstar owes me... Those bombs cost bread...

Well, it might be one of those problems that only happens once in a while - no reason to actually survey it.

It might be glitch or bug, something. lolz

You're probably only able to put one bomb in one car.

"Remote Bomb doesn't work"

Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't, ever since 1.13

Nothing more frustrating than preparing for a suicide bombing, driving your car directly into a player's, and then pressing left over and over like an idiot while nothing happens and they shoot you in the face. I hope they fix this.

EDIT - I thought you meant sticky bombs. Because technically, they're the same thing as the "remote mines" in Goldeneye for the N64.

If you change sessions, you lose the bomb planted in your car. I know this much but I think it still sticks if you die.

These bombs are not permanent like many think, they can only be used in the current session. A bit pricey and rather dumb - if I had my way I would have ignition bombs in all my cars if they were permanent.

unless it was recently changed, you could only put a remote bomb on one car at a time...

I got remote bombs on 3 of my cars.

Here is my guess:

The car that this player stole got exploded after having put remote bomb on it and unfortunately, this removed remote bomb.I think the bomb didn't get activated because of this, there was no bombs on the car.And the "Detonate Bomb" contact was still in your phone because other remote bombed car was in garage and you can't blow up your car in the garage

But if I'm wrong, your problem looks like a typical gta bug.Next time,it will work correctly

the bombs will be removed if you put it on another car, or if you put that car in your garage.

They will also be removed if you change sessions they are only temporary.

Nope they are removed, once you put your car in the garage or change sessions they are only temporary it's a glitch if they happen to stay on when you switch sessions.

I've put a lot of bombs on my cars so i would know

It's always been dodgy, especially after keeping it around for awhile, just like sticky bombs.
