Should I get Sandking XL or SWB?

SWB FTW hands down. If you want a true 4X4 vehicle(not a "SUV") that can perform the best for 'hill climbing', clearance and agility, get the SWB SandKing. Just like real life. SWB dominates(depending on terrain). True 4X4 offroaders in real life know this.

not much, maybe 2ft or so. rough guess though. never really sat them side by side and compared them.

Thanks.

2' isn't enough for the XL to bottom-out. If they did, with GTA V's crappy driving physics, you can shake the front wheels to redistribute the weight between the wheels, and free the car.

I really prefer the SWB, it is just a tiny bit more manageable and I sold it for my 6x6 and kind of regret the decision. The 6x6 is quicker but can't steer worth a damn and doesn't seem to have the ground clearance of the SWB. I'll be buying another as soon as I can decide what car to cut.

The Dubsta 6x6 really shouldn't be called a 6x6, more like 6x4 since the front wheels aren't powered (is that the word?).

i would recommend finding one off the street. they can be found with the brush guard without the air dam and sometimes roll bars to boot. i keep hoping to find one with just the brush guard and a winch, but i do not think they spawn like this though. yet to see one like that anyway.

EDIT: i also forgot the SWB has driving lights in the grille where the XL doesn't if i'm not mistaken. anyone care to correct me if i am wrong here?

and for a shameless plug this is my SWB like i was describing above.

off the street with brush guard and without the silly air dam. all i did was add tow hooks and respray so the colors are darker and richer than stock.

dirty

clean, same paint as above only clean.

SWB is for "real" offroaders.

And for the people saying the 6x6 is the new top dog...... you are bad and you should feel bad. 6x6 is a concrete princess..

/thread

Again the 6x6 could climb up there

Men't it more as "this is king of the hill" but here's a wider shot.

Whether the 6x6 can climb this i don't know, my 6x6 was given a 1 way ticket to the scrap yard where it belongs.

From those two I would say the xl because of more passenger space but I personally hate the design so I would go for a Bodhi, it looks awesome and has lots of mods and you and your friends will look bad ass in the back. The Bodhi is a lot faster than the sand king but it has less clearance. It depends if you want it for races or climbing mountains or rocks because the sandking's suspension is like a marshmallow, it absorbs the forces or inclines but it feels awful when driving and cornering. The rebel is also quite good but for rock climbing it sucks and it lacks in power when going up inclines, I remember seeing an entity climb up and I would spin out and slide down even though I eased the throttle when wheel spinning.

races: sanchez or bifta

hill climbs/mountains: sandking xl or Bodhi

looks: rebel (clean one has a spawn so don't waste 22k

out of your options I would say the xl over the swb because it's a little longer and seats 2 more, the mods are pretty much the same and unless you want it to look cool the chances are you may not use the bumper mods because it ruins the clearance it already has.

ah, but if you look at my pic above you'll see the SWB can be found on the street with the brush guard, but without the air dam part. also can be found with or without the roll bar combination as well. whether or not you can find the same thing with the XL, i'm not totally sure on, but i've yet to see an XL on the street like this. anyone know different please let me know. :beerhat:

You can get an XL off the street with only the bar and no chin dam, My 1st XL was like that, I had to get rid of it because I don't like the bull bar/brush guard and the only way too get rid of it is to select the chin Dam which I also don't like, and I always jack/steal my SandKing's.

ten-a-penny

Short Wheel Base = better off-roading performance =/= same as the XL.

this is probably why I couldn't climb Mt. Chilliad before R* ruined the SK and turning it to a RWD. i used a SandKing XL that day.

@ everybody who says that 6x6 > SK: 6x6 = SK. The SandKing SandQueen still performs better than the Dubsta if some areas (i.e climbing rocks, etc) and can go through short walls due to the height. The Dubsta can't do these things ;) the Dubsta is the King of off-roading, The SandKing SandQueen is the Queen of off-roading (Queen = King)

get an SWB
the dubsta 6x6 is an offroad car for guys who want to feel big but not actually go big
the SWB is the best offroad vehicle in the game and has insane offroad capabilities :p

I have had both and prefer the 2 door because it has a shorter wheel base making it better for offroading
