The Map Is Getting Too Croweded w/Jobs...

As long with the 1.14 update R* has added even more job starter circles to the map which are for "Missions" now making it even more crowded than ever where it almost impossible to not accidentally walk into a circle now without tripping something because they put them in the worse places, Like across from the Eclipse towers you used to be able to go caddycorner to jump the fence to avoid a tank greifer but now you can't because of the circle for a race if it's not a race it's a Mission, DM, or something...

Look at the big map and go over to the Airport and look and see how many things are packed into one area.

Am i the only one who thinks they are crowding the map and wishes we had an option to turn off which circles we don't want to to appear on our map?

 

What circles would you keep or get rid of?

 

If it was up to me i wouldn't have any of them on my map because i don't do the majority of them especially Death Matches & Races...

I was actually thinking this last night that the map is getting overcrowded,

made worse if you have your own content on the map at all times and any bookmarked

events.

 

I suppose I would remove the DM's/Captures/LTS since I rarely play those modes.

 

Perhaps an option they will give us at some stage.

Those markers have annoyed me since day one.

 

They even have one right infront of my garage...

 

Player should be able to turn it off.

They should've just kept the map the way it was. Its like every time rockstar does something good, they do something small, that's irritating.

The map has always been to crowded with jobs, and it's just getting worse. It makes the mini map really, really cluttered. Having all this crap on the mini map is one thing, but what retard decided that everything else should be BEHIND this sh*t on the mini map? I mean this is ridiculous. All the jobs disappear from the mini map when you have a wanted level. Pay attention to it next time you play and see how much better the mini map is while you have a wanted level.

 

I think I've only used the blue coronas once, and that was during the tutorial when you have to go to that death match. Other than that, never used it and been annoyed by it many times.

Simple map filtration tool with a check box...I personally go through the start menu or quick job for missions etc.

hahaha on a serious side, we should have the option to turn off the mission blips from the radar as well as they should change the automatic mission trigger.

 

make it so when you walk into the circle have the game prompt you or a pop up " press Triangle to launch" without triggering any animation, unless you press said button.

The only job i ever started though that was Rooftop Rumble via a Bookmark when i hosted it for lower level players other than that, Nope

I cannot possibly understand how R* could overlook something this simple but utterly useful feature. And this goes especially to the f**ing gang attacks.

Damn, how I hate those... They put them onto the most awesome/important landmarks on the map, soon there will be no place left to hang around peacefully, because every nice spot will be reserved by a gang territory.

Ive hated those since the start. Wish you had the option to just not show them or at least make it so you have to press a button to start up the job.

Now that we have all the Jobs in the start menu there's really no need for the markers anymore. Only time I use them is when I accidently walk into one. Then I need to quit the job I get thrown into. They should be removable.

Yeah, that removes all the useful stuff from the map and leaves you with all the sh*t that nobody ever uses. And I don;t think it has an effect on the mini map, which is affected the worst.

This is definitely something people should bring to Rockstar. It should be a simply yes/no in the options menu - Freemode Mission Markers: Off/On

I don't mind the jobs/activities too much. I'm REALLY bothered by the the name tag deal when you enlarge the mini map. last night most of the lobby was in on place & I couldn't tell who was a friend or for because the area was covered with those horrible black tags.

Great idea. Now all we need is someone who isn't lazy. No idea where we'll find someone like that. I guess we'll have to live with the cluttered map.
