Combat MG vs Special Carbine

Completely different class of guns i know, but if you had to use 1 which would you take?

Pros/cons?

i would prefer combat MG because 2nd highest magazine cap in game ( first only minigun , which hold anything with non-stop fire . meaning never reload ) . also range farther than carbine & special carbine , however special carbine combination of carbine ( accuracy ) and advanced rifle ( damage ) . making it more better than both , but drawback are only range ( especially if silenced but dampens recoil )

thanks to large magazine , 1 box of combat MG is enough for magazine to kill horde of enemies & capable destroying aircrafts in 1 magazine ( depends if player shoot weak spot or not , except for helicopter )

Combat MG is good for long range but is inaccurate and slower firing at shorter ranges, so 1v1s with it in Close combat is a no no. And the Normal Carbine is better than the Special Carbine anyway, so..

Why is the normal better then the special?

accuracy over firerate, thats it.

But i don't notice any accuracy issue with the SC tho?

Scope + grip on mine.

the time i used the special carbine i never had any issue.

"accuracy over firerate" is the argument used by the Carbine Master Race.

Carbine Master Race... I like the sound of that! Lol

Not that there's an "issue" with the special carbine's accuracy, it's just I've found the carbine's to be better, as well as handle slightly better.

And personally I think the special carbine is the ugliest gun in the game lol. I own it, but don't use it.

It's hard to pick one over the other. It's like peanut butter and jelly. They have their uses individually, but the sandwich is better if you have both.

I use the regular carbine as my all purpose weapon, the accuracy on it gets the job done.

I switch to the combat MG when I wanna pick off that target slightly out of the carbine's range, or pinn somebody down with its 200 round mag.

And since I keep a suppresor on the carbine, I use the MG for delivering heavier damage in particular situations, especially when I'm free aim shooting.

The carbine's handling is better for strafing.

OK, I'm going to tell you why the Combat MG is better, one final time.

Yesterday, I was in the Maze death match, in the Kortz centre. The opposing team went to the rooftops and tried to snipe us, but I used my Combat MG, and guess what? I was the most valuable player, and I only used the Assault Shotgun and the Combater MG. this shows its amazing range, while still having automatic fire.

On the other hand, the Special Carbine only covers ranges that are dominated by the Combat MG. The Combat MG has a higher fire rate, which means the damage to fire rate ratio is dominant in the duo.

Ask yourself, can the Special Carbine reach rooftops, like the Combat MG can?

I use the special carbine. Dont know why, but it gets the job done. I mostly use combat mg for shooting at airplanes and choppers.

As some already said, the Assault Shotgun owns everything if youre in close range combat. The sniper owns in long range combats. Everything in between, i dont think it matters that much if you use combat mg or rifle. Combat mg got a bit more range and rifle do a tad more damage. I use the one i feel most comfortable with.
