Completely different class of guns i know, but if you had to use 1 which would you take?

Pros/cons?

i constantly switch between the combat mg and carbine depending on my range. i think at close range a carbine or even special carbine would win so id go with that,

Combat MG is good for long range but is inaccurate and slower firing at shorter ranges, so 1v1s with it in Close combat is a no no. And the Normal Carbine is better than the Special Carbine anyway, so..

But i don't notice any accuracy issue with the SC tho?

Scope + grip on mine.

the time i used the special carbine i never had any issue.

"accuracy over firerate" is the argument used by the Carbine Master Race.

Did you mean combat MG and original carbine? The special carbine is garbage imo, I switch between the two depending on how far away my target is but I mainly use the carbine.

If you need to go close range, use the Assault Shotgun. If far, use the Combat MG. No need for a rifle.

Hmm, it seems like everyone has a different opinion

Good balancing then? :^:

I use the Special Carbine and Assault shotgun depending on range and then pull out the Heavy sniper for anything far out. I'm kinda interested in the people who swear by the original carbine tho.

I like it because it has great range, accuracy, and rate of fire. It's a very well balanced weapon.

The carbine is the gun I'm talking about btw just wanted to make sure that was clear.

Wrong imo you dont know what you talking about I havent used combat MG in ages.. Longer range = Heavy Sniper.. Medium range advanced/carbine and short assault shotgun.. I prefer the advanced over the carbine but am I doing it wrong then as they are for same range basically but which one really is more powerful in P VS P?

The only weapons you ACTUALLY need are:

- Combat MG, for automatic long range

- Heavy Sniper, for obvious reasons

- AP Pistol, for drive bys

- Miniguns, for helicopters

- Explosives, for several reasons

And last but certainly not least,

The Assault Shotgun, in a class of its own.

No... The Combat, or as I like to call mine, the Combater, simply has the range the Assault Rifles can't reach.

accuracy over firerate, thats it.But only at long range. At short ranges, firerate over accuracy.

In free aim, carbine of course. You're gonna have to pick off people from a distance cause no one fights at close range in FA. The range advantage carries over to AA too, obviously

Direction changes and running and combat roll master race go home w your Combat MG LOL. Also heavy sniper works againts combat mg if out of rifles range if you good at sniping and picking your targets location quickly.

What about with attachments tho?

I use scope+grip on the Special, it's the maximum accuracy possible. Does the Carbine also get those 2 attachments?

As I have said in the past,on auto-aim lobbies and within the lock-on range Special Carbine makes everything obsolete because Assault Rifles have the same lock-on distance with MG's in the game.

MG's are only better free aiming outside the lock-on distance.

I like silencers on weapons for deathmatch purposes so the Special Carbine is my choice.

I have the grip, scope, and extended mag on the carbine. If you look at the little stat menu when you're wheeling through your weapons you'll see which guns have better overall stats. It's mainly about personal preference though, if the special works for you then more power to ya. :)
