Lowering the suspension on the Sandking?

So i'm trying to make a "Raptor" like truck with the Sandking but it's suspension looks way to high. I normally would never lower the suspension for an off-roader but i'm wondering if there is any positive effect by doing so.

Can anyone tell me exactly what changes in terms of the vehicles performance? Specifically for offroading/crawling/climbing etc

Thanks.

I've found it doesn't effect the Sandking at all. I not only lower mine but I also include the feul tanks, I've noticed no restictions in my truck at all. It still cimbs over cars and everything else regardless.

its pointless, the raptor would be an amazing addition ive wanted since day 1 release, dont lower suspension on any car it looks abnormal. But too answer your question the only thing that changes is turning balance, it turns better pretty much and it worsens the jumps a bit. But an actual ford raptor is way faster than the ford f350 in the game, and better suspension(fox shocks) it would be the favorite among off roaders and stunt jumpers.

Sorry for my previous post mistake

Nope and if you lower it and have the bumpers and gas tanks on it, you reduce your height clearance big time and you will get stuck trying to go over things like guardrails and cars...

It makes me sad when people lower the suspension or slam cars that look horrible slammed

So i decided to just do some testing by myself and noticed something strange, you might be surprised.

Wen't from stock to the lowest possible in racing suspension to see the full effect.

The suspension doesn't seem to have effected the attack angle at all. It just climbs them differently, let me explain. I wen't to the "land act reservoir" to test on those 5 big drain pipes running down into the water since i knew the stock one could barely get up without destroying the bumper. I thought if it had any negative effect this would surely tell. So i pulled up to it and put my front tires at the base, gave it a little gas and "blip" it just instantly jumped to the top. So instead of the front tires actually having to "claw" the side to climb, it kinda just skipped that part. Same way the "Baja bared Rebel" climbs obstacles.

I tested on the guard rails too and it does the same thing. Weird eh?

So in conclusion the climbing ability of the truck doesn't get negatively effected by even the lowest suspension, it just changes how it does it. :^:

I think what i'm going to do now is put the "first" custom suspension on it and test if it get's the "blip" boost as well. While keeping the most clearance.possible.

Could turn out to be the best of both worlds :^:

EDIT: No good, it's basically the stock suspension with less travel.

So i'm going to stick with the stock suspension anyways, i like the "plush" ride and watching the suspension work. Racing suspension actually works well but it would be more for desert running and things like that, plus i imagine it lowers the amount the "water kill" level too.

I drive off road and found that lowering the suspension is good on flat out sandy desert terrain. It lowers the center of gravity so that you can turn harder. But to crawl you need long travel in the suspension.

my sandking is fully loaded ..but when it comes to suspension , i think that it should be left with the stock suspensions , i mean it s a huge pick up ,and it should be as high as possible :)

but then you want to recreate the Raptor ....
