Ready For Paid Content?

Sooner or later, odds are that Rockstar will add new content to the GTA Xbox/Playstation Store that will have a price tag attached, unlike the previous content packs. When the day comes that new content has a cost, will you be willing to pay that cost or will you remain content with only free content?

 

 

Personally, if it means a bump up in content quality, I would greatly enjoy for paid content to be released.

 

Would you pay for the regular small packs that have been regularly releasing or would Rockstar have to step it up to get more of your money?

Well, if they are the same size then no. But i am certain these types will continue to be free until when or if R* decides to release a gta iv type DLC they will attach a price tag.

I'd pay for DLC if I thought it was worth it, in fact, I kind of thought it would make sense if heist DLC wasn't free.

I have almost no motivation whatsoever left to play this game, so it would have to be exceptionally good for me to consider buying it; Actual new gameplay features, not just cars, clothes, guns etc.

only The Ballad of Gay Heists kind of single-player stuff. but if it's adding landscape to online kind of big deal i'll pay for that too.

The story was terrible so I doubt I'd be buying any SP DLC unless it came with some seriously awesome multiplayer thingies.

Until we find out what these dlc's will be, im saying no, R* have made enough money in game sales to have a decent and " hack proof " server, but for some unknown reason they dont, honestly why pay for dlc when the game will be over run by modders every 2weeks after they launch new content.

 

Over all, if R* did their f*****g job, and not spend their money on making random s*** like lighters and golf clubs. THEY WOULD HAVE TIME AND MONEY FOR GTA O.

I'll probably get the DLC, but only if it's good.

 

The last thing I need is to pay for terrible DLC...

Or have the game force us to buy it to have access to the more interesting game modes... CoD and BF.

I'd pay for multiplayer DLC but not single player DLC. I only did maybe 50% of SP and probably will never finish it so there really isn't a need for SP DLC for me.

Regarding the lighters and golf clubs rant, that merchandise comes from Rockstar New York, not the development team at Rockstar North. So too much/lack of merchandise has no effect on game development.

Some people will throw money at everything.... If the DLC was more than just palette swaps, and a few cars I would consider.

I'm kind of sick of the monthly Online updates (I know, shocking). I always check them out, take a look at the cars, fire a shot or two from the new weapons, buy clothes, see the new hairstyles, watch the new masks on YouTube (because the beach is too far away), and that's it. 30 minutes of content is supposed to occupy me for a whole month. I'm better off playing without them (like literally, I'm playing since launch and didn't buy/use 2 items came with updates).

 

People always use the same excuse against the ones with the same opinion like me: but it's FREE!!!!

Yeah, that's exactly the problem!

 

I wouldn't mind paying $5-10 for updates that actually expand the available activities in Los Santos a little more. I'm not even talking about opening up the casino (that's for the major story DLC), but little things like a new race mode (drag racing) with it's own unique gameplay mechanics or a mission creator. And how hard would it be to add other minigames, ones that already excised in the past?

 

This is why I hate free-to-play games too. If I see a good concept of a game, I'd like to get a full-packaged product, not a half-assed excuse labeled as F2P.

I don't need free stuff, let me pay for quality content. Free things always come with a skidmark (the kind found in underpants).
