I always play friends only or invite only and I haven't even seen a regular crate drop in months so I doubt it.

But it could be a glitch in my case I don't know. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

Did they change this for regular crates in one of the updates? I'm 100 percent sure I got regular crates in invite only sessions but as I said it was a long time ago though.

Did they change this for regular crates in one of the updates? I'm 100 percent sure I got regular crates in invite only sessions but as I said it was a long time ago though.

 

I don't know but i know i have never seen them drop in an invite or crew only session, only in public sessions and then i only see em maybe once every few weeks.

 

Just gotta keep an eye on your "Notification" above your mini-map

They drop in public lobbie and have been doing so since Wednesday. I collected one and it was $4000 and 2000rp. Nothing else. Another kid got one and was mad that it was $5000 and 4000rp. Another got less. I haven't seen anyone get weapons from this set of crate drops but the first one I ever got back around Christmas had a t shirt and $20,000 and molotovs.

Only in public, and sometimes they glitch and keep dropping. I got 3 with 10k rp 5k $ and a minigun each in about 10 minutes!

on the so called "special crate drops" the most I've ever gotten was $5000... While having to fight off four other randoms lol.. And in the process of banking my money I was killed four times so I really only got $3000 lol... That was back in February and haven't seen a "special" one since. BTW all I play in are lobbies with randoms unless I'm doing missions etc with friends.

I got a special crate drop in crew-only invite lobby Thursday night and I was the only one in the room. I was quite a bit surprised, considering I've never even seen a regular crate drop in a crew-only room. $5,000, 5000 RP and a minigun. I haven't seen one since then.

Last night there were 2 crate drops in a session with 5 of my friends playing in it, the session was invite only.

Think one of them said he got a few grand, 2000RP and some other stuff.

But I got one a three days ago, got about 2000 rp and 10 rocket launchers. xD
