Are tanks super rare now?

I played something like 8 hours today and the only tank I saw was one which rolled into a car meet and blew up about 8fancy cars. His tank was dead within 5 seconds afterwards. No one seems brave enough to go get one any more, tankers seem to have sufered sudden testicle shrinkage !. If they ever had any.

the reason you see less tanks on the game is that you now have pay insurance on the personal vehicles you destroy. personally, I don't want to get stuck with the cost of blowing up five adders or something.

I've noticed many tanks in the last few days, but it's considerably easier to destroy them with the jet cannon gun which I think makes more sense.

But they're still targeting low level users, because they don't have access to RPG's.

If you see a low level user being harassed by one it's your moral obligation to destroy that tank with an RPG.

I'm usually in invite/crew/friend only sessions...so, not much tank action unless we're killing NPCs for fun.

Tank scrubs are the main patrons at the Pegasus Concierge all-you-can-spawn-buffet,

 

And their favorite dish on the menu is Rhino.

 

Unfortunately, the current down side for them is that they started charging you for drink refills and put less beef in those patties.

 

The tankers are still out there tho. Believe that. They just lost some folks.

I'm happy with it. If someone wants to grief with a tank, they'll just have to be more creative than simply rolling down the street and firing at everyone they see.

I just spawned my tank and blew it up with a grenade launcher. Like four grenades, might have even been three. Anyway the grenade launcher fires so fast you are probably better using that than an RPG.

Based on my session tonight i'd say a definite no. But it was effing epic. Playing with my brother having a shootout with a bunch of other players, of course somebody eventually pulls the pussy card and grabs a tank. Within about 5 minutes, there were no less than 4 tanks (some people were co-oping, couldn't tell who) so I went and grabbed mine.

 

Off radar, got every single one of them, one at a time. It takes like 2 cannon shots direct to the rear of a tank to blow it up now. I usually come off worst in tank v tank fights as well for some inexplicable reason, not tonight. One of them tried calling another back in, blew it up again, that was 5. Then about 10 minutes later another rolled into town, RPG'd it from a rooftop. 6 tanks gone in about 15 minutes, loved it.

tanks are done because of some stupid changes.tanks aren't real tanks anymore.they are fragile as glass now.

They somewhat nerfed it too much, now all it takes is one swoop for me with a jet, it's like they're driving regular cars. Now the thrill of taking out tanks is gone.

Yes they are, and 1.14 is my favourite patch so far because of it. The insurance system has been fixed and three sticky's to the back of a tank and your problem is solved.
