The Marauder is a Armored Vehicle that is manufactured by the Paramount Group. The Civilian Variant was featured on Top Gear (UK Version) in 2011. Would you like to see a parody of it available as a Personal Vehicle in GTA V/Online?

I feel it would be an excellent addition to the game. Yes we just received the Dubsta 6X6, this could be an alternative to those who want an Armored Personal Vehicle, and are willing to sacrifice speed.

Discuss.

Edit: Look up "The Marauder - Top 10 Military Vehicle - Top Gear - BBC" on YouTube for a video of it. This forum is being broken and won't let me link the video or pictures...

I'd want it to be unlocked at level 150, sold from cache and carry, have options for mounted machine guns or let passengers use assault rifles. Also bulletproof glass (You can't shoot through it, but you can't get killed through it.)

OMG hell yeah. It would be able to withstand sticky bombs and be able to ram the 6x6 off the road. Awesome suggestion, really.

 

But at first I thought you were talking about the Mercury Marauder:

The Marauder has Bulletproof Glass and Shooting Ports, so this would be possible. :)

The Marauder is more armored, it would sacrifice speed for Armor. IRL it was very explosive resistant. They used 7 Pounds of plastic explosives on it, and it only somewhat damaged one of the rear wheels. The Marauder also has Shooting Ports in addition to it's bulletproof glass.

competent? are you sure thats the word you meant to use? and how is suggesting a new idea for a vehichle being ungrateful? thats dumb as hell to say...

Personally, I think a Humvee or the new armored vehicle to replace the Humvee (Second Picture) would be better. Humvee's are nicely armored but then again not extremely explosive resistant like the Marauder so it wouldn't be OP. Although, anything would be better than the current pitiful military jeeps in GTA.

It would become the new tank... that why its not a good idea imo

GTA is whatever Rockstar and the community want it to be. GTA San Andreas had tons of military equipment so GTA V can as well.

Just because a game adds military vehicles into it, doesn't mean it should turn into a military orientated game.

All military vehicles do is give people an unfair advantage and allow then to troll/grief. There is no reason to bring a tank/jet to a gun fight unless you either suck or just want to be an asshole.

 

You wouldn't be able to throw sticky bombs or explosives (maybe you could get a grenade through the shooting port). It's not going to have the same armor as the Tank. If Rockstar would make it more likely for someone to loose a wheel from a crash or explosion, this wouldn't be that big of a problem. Then we could simply just aim an RPG for a tanks treads. To disable the Marauder, just destroy all it's wheels. Military vehicles are there to balance so if you have 8 *ssholes running at you with Combat MG's, RPG's, Auto-Shotgun, and Mini-Gun. The Entity XF isn't a military vehicle, but people can do a lot of damage to you with Reverse Drive-By's.

Just so you guys know, real armored hummers sucks ass. Very slow and not very maneverable. The Marauder is better as far as armor and ground clearence, but still slow and hard to maneuver due to its size.
