Woah, Black Betty (Bam a Lam) [The Black Car Thread]

Yep, I did a search and found nothing on color based car threads, so I'm here as a service to the forum community and my fellow GTA marauders in presenting the first color based car thread ever, today. Yeah, maybe there's one out there, but really, who. the hell. kears?

So, let's see those black painted cars. The ones that look suspicious during the day and downright mean at night. The ones that don't scream "look at me," but rather, "did a car just go by?"

Black is the saturation of all color, so it gives the effect of space and depth. Darkness can be forboding, depending on culture, of course.

So, without further ado (yes, I wrote ado this time!), show off your Black Betties, cuz I'm looking forward to seeing 'em! Cheers!

(and no, they don't have to be all black, just black primary)

My new ride is the Warrener which looks good at pickup:


And still holds together pretty well after the initial test drive:


And while black with a purple pearly, the Sultan looks plain during the day, but really mean at night!


Same thing with the Gauntlet. Not sure I'm impressed with it during daylight hours, but at night, it's kind sexy!


And lastly, there's nothing better to avoid that a Sandking at night moving at top speed, ready to pounce like a panther!

I like this thread however I'm not a big fan of the hypocrisy that is the modding on this site. I started a thread named the keep it simple car tribute thread to have a place to post normal looking cars with normal paint schemes and it was immediately locked with a mod telling me they don't need any more car threads and they should just be posted in the show your car thread instead. I'm just curious why this thread is allowed to stay open and mine wasn't.

I have a problem. Been doing Matte Black since I started.

 

 

Back when money was nothing, I did this as well. I was obsessed and loved the whole garage, as a whole. Then, I got bored, and I chromed everything. Now, I have a rainbow of fruit flavors, but all tastefully applied in dark, toned down colors... nothing gaudy or obnoxious. I think.

not one of these is black.

I was actually inspired by this response to rethink my Warrener.

 

Now, it looks like this.

 

Still, it would have been nicer if adamsowilliams actually made a contribution, to go with his observation, right? Still time....

well i've always like the colour black, but failed to find a car i have that it suits, came here for some inspiration and all i found was a black and white car and some deep, dark coloured cars. you warrener looks much better now.

 

however, thegronard might have just swayed me to black out my zentorno.
