Doing Coveted with a Buzzard

Recommended Posts

1) Save this Playlist

Buzzard Coveted 100k Special

2) Launch with 2+ Players

3) One does Potshot (block bridge, deliver van), one calls a Buzzard and parks it at the Coveted start point

4) You now have a Buzzard for Coveted

5) Repeat

6) Pocket nearly 100K

You're welcome ;)

Or just do coveted playlist and still beat it under 5 minutes anyway...

a) It's boring that way

b) This might work faster, not sure.

c) Buzzard!

Lol im not trying to insult you or anything but its just... Why.

A) All missions are boring when done efficiently

B) If you're not sure, maybe test it & come back, seems a lot of effort for something of which you are unsure

C) So what?

I'd rather gouge my eyes out than play Coveted the 'old' way, even after the update. But I like money. YMMV :)

This triggers the Cargobob so much faster than any other way, you just fly down and 8 missiles later the zone is clear. And of course the chopper on the way to the warehouse doesn't last long.

This is for PS3 correct? I'm on my phone and the SC page doesn't load quite correctly.

Missions are not boring when done efficiently...they are boring when not playing with friends.

The Buzzard will remain between jobs in a playlist? Couldn't you just grab it during the first Coveted then?

They remain, yes. You have to go miles to grab it, this way makes that time earn you money.

I created it on Xbox but you can make your own;

1) Play the missions from "Host Job"

2) Create a Playlist

3) Add "Recently Played Missions" to it

et voila

crystal clearout 3 might be 2x as fast as the new coveted, with a buzzard that is. 10k every 2:15 or 18k every 4ish mins on coveted... and no chance to fail crystal clear out 3

Actually you're right, there's no need to do Potshot each time.

So, the perfect playlist is actually just

Potshot, get the Buzzard

Coveted, and park it at the end after destroying the incoming chopper.

Repeat Coveted.

I guarantee Coveted is fastest with a Buzzard.

Would it be as efficient to start with CCO II since the start location is pretty close to the landing strip/Buzzard spawn and the mission ends on the last kill of CCO?

Though, Potshot is dead easy.

I was playing it straight up, no worries, but my crew like to run missions as efficiently as possible and this seems pretty efficient since the time it takes to complete the first mission is enough time to set up for the following missions

Potshot, Coveted(Buzzard) x15. It's happening.

Wait, what? PS3? Link? Me want! ;)

Coveted and RR never show up on my recently played when I try to make playlists. I'll try again later but if someone has a 'potshot - coveted 15x' playlist for PS3 I'd appreciate a link.

Trouble with that is the mission ends as soon as the last kill happens, with Potshot the timing works nicely so even if (hopefully..) the teammates complete in as fast as possible you still have time to park the Buzzard,

I ended up with this playlist, it's Potshot then Coveted 3 times, twice.

I guarantee Coveted is fastest with a Buzzard.

It's at least a full 60 second wait for the cargobob once you trigger it, another probably 1:30 to pick up and deliver. 30 seconds to kill everyone with a buzzard.

Ok maybe cco3 isnt twice as fast as coveted with a buzzard but it's probably close.

4:30 for 18k

Or

4:30 for 10k x2

You can do Coveted 16 with the tank or the buzzard, I think the tank is better, much more durable for 16. .Did it once each way, honestly didnt seem that much faster. I wont be doing Coveted 16 with either again anytime soon, just too boring.

Yeah I probably don't have the enthusiasm to time it but I think CCO3 done well is probably the fastest way*, providing the Buzzard is destroyed at the end. I like the variety of Coveted with a Buzzard though, especially the new version.

*Especially with >1 Buzzard

With a CCO3 playlist I've been able to reuse my buzzard by leaving one or two guys at the middle camp, clearing the left and far ones, approach for landing and fire of a missile to clean up the last guys. If I land near the start point my buzzard is ready for the next round.

Genius. Next time I get an invite from you to a playlist starting with potshot I'll know what's happening. :bbq:

Buzzard? Nah.

I use a tank, clears the cove in about 30 seconds

What the hell kind of argument is that? If I were to say "People who smoke crack are are stupid." would you say "Well, they like to smoke crack.."

I'm aware that's how people want to play the game and IMO it's a stupid way to play the game

Way to lose perspective. crack is whack, everybody knows that

Let's try it this way:

If you were to say "What's with people playing this game like it's work?" I would say, "Well, that's your opinion."

It is your opinion and it is your right to voice it. But you're just being abrasive in this thread, not helpful
