I'm for a edm station. Love dub step too. Plus would like to hear deeper playlists on the existing stations as well. Getting tired of hearing the same songs over and over.

And, I edited that comment because I was bashing your "not funny since 2010" joke (because it also wasn't funny) and your musical tastes didn't seem to elude that you were a Skrillex fan. Gotta give credit where credit is due. I may be abrasive, but I'm not a total dick. :)

 

And, if you like Pendulum then you should check out Noisia's DNB remixes. "Nothing Matters" comes to mind.

Ah, yeah I just have always thought that joke was stupid, even though Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is a sh*t song and overrated as hell and I'll admit Skrillex sucks for the majority of his music.

I would love to see an EDM radio station. I listen to lots of Trance and Dubstep. The best type of Dubstep styles are Ambient Dubstep and Chillstep.

Ontopic though, Yes, but no. Electronic music is far to sub-genre'd for it to be into one station. It'd really have to be broken up into like 3 or 4. But no Skrillex, Avicii, Martin Garrix, none of those overrated idiots. (Even as a Skrillex "Fan" He's only made a few good songs.) I'm talking the good artists, who really put effort into their music. The M Machine, Flume/What So Not, Deadmau5, Diplo/Major Lazer, Noisia, Feed me. Those types. This is just a part of my playlist.

It's got a mix of everything. Trap, Moombahton, House, Electro, Dubstep, Glitch Hop.

 

But let's get some Pretty Lights onto FlyLo FM pls R*. And a good electro Station, or atleast add some Justice to Soulwax.

Oh so EDM is for Hipster now? A bunch of Hipsters at Miami when they attended to that sh*t forgot what it was called lol.

 

Trust me, 9th grader couldn't make those beats. And I can tell the difference between all of them.

 

I do agree that some of them are overrated like Martin Garrix all he does is the same beats with a different sound. But he is still a kid, very impressive.

 

And I personally don't like Skrillex, only a few of his beats and that's it.

 

Hardwell is my favorite tho.

I like EDM and I'm not a hipster. BTW, EDM isn't all about simple beats anymore. From the vast collection of EDM I have, Trance has become the most complex style of EDM.

also as I've mentioned before EDM is way to broad to really mean anything

unless you really are a hipster fag and just jumped the EDM bandwagon you should know that many of these genres now being lumped together under the EDM moniker have been around for a long long time.

all the genres it encompasses are way too different for any1 to realistically like them all.

unless you actually are a hipster and just like EDM because it's the hip thing to do.

House is part of EDM. So is Dubstep, DnB and others. Saying all of those represent House is just wrong. EDM does not correctly represent what House really is.

The old House is more reminiscent of Funk and Synth pop. Like Modjo - Hear Me Tonight. Which was on, ding ding ding! Non stop pop.

 

I do not see why you have to attack my post like that. It wasn't offensive. Hell, even the OP agreed with it. As a rebuttal, I'll say, if you don't like the people here,

That's Channel X.

Channel X is actually technically classic American hardcore, mostly from the California scene between '78-'83, but I wouldn't be mad if someone called it the punk station.

 

I actually love this station and LOVED LOVED LOVED LCHC in IV. More "aggressive" music certainly wouldn't hurt this game, IMO.

Oh, ok. I don't like the Mexican music in this game, so remove it now. I also don't like half of the POP songs. So IDGAF and remove it.

 

And no, I started to like EDM slowly, first with Skrillex and then went moving on to more complex things like Hardwell and Deadmau5.
