Bullpup.

 

Can not stand the gack gack gack noise of the Carbine.

 

In reality there is next to no difference between them and anyone that thinks there is is probably imagining things. Hence as Hentai Posse pointed out, an Assault Rifle option should be in place.

 

There are differences. Especially the Assault Rifle is weak compared to the others.

Carbine. Really wish the rifles had a nice, loud sound like they did in IV. That's the one thing that always bugs me when using them.

Carbine for me, tried all of them for a while (except the bullpoop, just cannot get used to that thing) and finally reverted back to the good'ol carbine. It works very well when targets are out of AA range, thats the main reason I use it.

I love the sound and look of the Bullpup and Special Carbine but I have decided on the Advanced as my main choice because all rifles have the same lock-on range I believe, so the range statistic is irrelevant unless you free-aim at distance(I just snipe) or play free-aim sessions.

 

So for me it's Advanced Rifle for lock-on and Carbine/Special Carbine for free-aim.

Bullpup - for several reasons.

1. Looks great.

 

2. Sounds nice and brutal.

3. Good all-rounder.


I'd imagine it'd be much more popular if more players also realised the rather neat little trick you can pull off with it - and no, I'm not going to spoil it here...! ;)

Special Carbine is a wall no other gun can climb over.

 

Carbine Rifle. Nothing beats it in terms of range, accuracy, and looks.

I've been using the bullpup the most since it came out, but I have the most kills with the special carbine. I grinded RR a lot w/the special.

For looks the Tavor(Advanced) because I love the design of that rifle. If I ever get to the point where I have an extra three grand burning a whole in my bank accnt I'm gonna pop for an SAR.

But I never go anywhere in this game without my Carbine. Can't go wrong with an AR and in green tint it's the closest thing in this game to my RL 15-22.
