It's hard to get a hit on ANYTHING with the Lazer. And with most of the GTA:O Players being about 9, most can't even hit anywhere near you.

 

Keep the explosive rounds, it rewards those who actually know how to use a jet.

Also, they're pretty hard to get with all the new tanks spawning at Zancudo.

The tanks have gotten a HUGE armor nerf. Why not the jets also? I'm not asking for the jets to shoot BB's. So I really don't understand why people are pulling this out of their ass, I just want the miniguns toned down. The real reason is because dogfights, and I LOVE dogfights. But they're not really fun since all it takes is one small trigger pull and the other person is down easily.

 

The tanks have been royally buttf*cked in the last update, which I am unhappy about, I don't want the jets to go the same way.

 

Tanks are piss easy to acquire once you've spent your $1.5m, just throw $200 at Pegasus and drive to the drop-off point which is easy and often quite close, but with jets you have to go out of your way to get into the base and know how to avoid the enemy to get one (unless you pay $5k which I tried once but the jets didn't spawn so haven't bothered since). And more importantly they're not level locked like the spawning of the usual helis/planes, so you can get one even if you're level 1 (I did have fun as a level 5 flying round killing others in one).

I'm not the one usually to start arguments, especially on this forum as I've read these forums for too long to understand why you don't wanna start an argument. I'm bitching/saying that Lazers should not be having explosive nub rounds.

So what do you want them to shoot? Water?

And the reason why we people argue on this forum is either something stupid comes up, the same topic is reposted, bitch and moaning, and other stuff like that. Basically, we've seen this before and we're just sick and tired of people nagging about this being to OP or this not being buffed up. Plain and simple.

I understand the whole "i hate teh people who complain about everything" because I used to read the CoD Forums, Halo forums and even Battlefield Forums. But usually sometimes people are right anout the things that need to be buffed or nerfed. Now I know this isn't a fps forum, but I'm using it as an example. These bitch & moan threads usuay can get resolved if everyone actually contributed instead of the usual "git gud" or "theyre fine"

You do realize this topic has already been solved, right? MANY people have made topics about this in the past and R* has answered their problem about this already, by doing nothing. Why? Because MANY MORE people think that the Lazer is already good as it is. Or maybe another reason. Who knows. We've contributed to the same topics in the past and we don't have to contribute to this one as we're just gonna say what we said in the past topics. Because the F-20 Tigershark had explosive rounds.

I'm pretty sure most modern U.S. fighters run the PGU-28A/B SAPHEI it is an incendiary and explosive wrapped in one.

All of this complaining about things being OP is just going to result in making the Tank, Jet and anything else of the sort to become ludicrously underpowered for what they are there will be no point in owning/using them. The way I see it, I payed 1.5 million for a Rhino that I have to pay $200 to have delivered to a select few locations and as such, the performance should stay exactly as it is the day I purchased it. As for the Jet IT IS A JET, of course it is meant to be OP compared to anything else available in the game.

 

As a side note as I am a fan of using the Jet, if I destroy a PV (using cannons of course) does the owner pay Insurance or is it No Charge now? I know with 100% certainty I do not get charged or get a Bad Sport penalty...

Try shooting a ground vehicle in an F-16 speed without the explosive rounds.

I do agree about it being slightly OP, but not to this level. You need to make at least 5 passes to destroy something in that speed.

Well, to be honest I think is a matter of tastes. Anyway OP, I saw you forgot to add to your list that you have to go fort zancudo to get every jet and unlike choppers or tank, you can't even buy, consider that also before thinking about how powerful it is against the other options.

M61 Vulcan. Fires PGU-28/B SAPHEI rounds, like the Lazer. Most modern fighters use this. The Lazer may use a standard minigun but with explosive bullets that could be mounted behind the pilot.

I don't mind jets at least they take some skill to use and a couple of shots from the heavy sniper take it down.Tanks on the other hand are a problem.It takes about 40 buzzard rockets to take one down.Then they go passive mode and grab another one.They need a slower rate of fire and a 50% armour nerf

Tank armor got nerfed & are even more of a sitting duck when it comes to jets, one good swoop can obliterate them now.

Neither party gets charged now.

Not sure about Bad Sport though.

The jet should have normal rounds like the buzzard, and the annhilator should have explosive rounds AND BE FASTER THAN THE BUZZARD.

 

Also side note, REMOVE TURBULENCE ON THE HELI'S!

 

I have been complaining about this for months, so good luck with having any impact lol.

 

The Jet right now is absolute easymode & is only used mainly by wannabe pilots who are garbage in all other air vehicles, but they think they're pilots because they can pa their K/D with it. Yet when they play 1 vs 1 against an overall pilot in the Annihilators, they get sh*t on 10 - 0.

 

I have been wanting Rockstar to change the gun to the Annihilator or buzzard gun for months,Explosive rounds take absolutely no skill at all, & changing the gun to something weaker would make all those f*cking scrubs stop using the Jet.

 

As for turbulence on helis, I do not agree. I think the helis are almost fine the way they are, they need to be a bit more of a challenge to prevent another GTA IV Heli spawn domination that we did for years.

 

I do not think the Annihilator should have explosive rounds, it was noob as hell in TBoGT & I would prefer it stays as it is now, except they increase the agility of it.

You f*cking idiot, this is not flight simulator, this is GTAO, meant to be a concept which runs for years.

 

You need to have balance in the game, If the Jet is going to be super OP, make it SUPER DIFFICULT. Right now it is one of the EASIEST vehicles in the game to get a kill with, & because its so OP, it is super easy to rack up hundreds of kills in a lobby by yourself.

 

Im going to keep bombarding rockstar until they change this sh*t, it needs to be nerfed.

But yeah its beyond belief now. Far too many scrubs getting flukey kills in Jets, the cannon is far too OP, we cant even get a good dogfight out of it, because its over in a second, and then it becomes a case of keeping noobs away from the base all the time to prevent pearl harbour.

I'm surprised then. If it's friends of friends of friends etc. then you need to cull your friends list

 

The majority of my friends play auto aim and I play free aim, so I don't end up playing with them or their friends. I don't see the same people online pretty much ever. My time in Los Santos is far from serene, but I only rarely see real arseholes so it's easy for me to say "just change session".

 

Guess that's no help for someone in your situation.

Dude, why does it bother you ? If someone is spawn killing you with a jet (Very rare) use passive mode, don't stand there waiting to be killed. Most of the time you don't have to do anything, people crash the plane right away.

The annihilator does suck, but anyway not a lot of people knws how to use a jet.

I think you personally just don't know a lot of people who are skilled at using a Jet. I know a lot of people good at a Jet and always come across people that don't crash right away.

Its not just friends of friends, its the crew thing too...

 

You can get dropped in sessions with a crew that you have a friend in, even if they are not online. & when you are a well known great pilot, other pilots add you, & usually end up in silly pilot crews which means there are always links to noob pilots lol.

 

I have deleted so many people, but i still always end up in sessions with randoms who are ALWAYS heading to the base, its like they have seen a good pilot get a few kills & immediately realise they can do it on a somewhat smaller scale.

 

Im just going to bombard Rockstar with the issue, because there is no downside to the Jet cannon being nerfed, it would require more skill, would reduce the amount of jet spawn killers drastically & with the tank already being nerfed, you dont even need Jets as the "Anti Tank Weapon" anymore.

 

There is seriously no reason to have an ultra easy mode jet still as it is, the cannon needs a nerf asap.

Like I have said, it means nothing in the current state of the game because the Jets are super easymode & anybody can grief people with them, thats why most of the Jet retards get utterly destroyed when they do 1 vs1 deathmatch in helis, because they're not pilots, just wannabes.
