Cforumlbgfeva
Personaly I hate how these new games you have to register them online to play the game even offline I wish the games would be like how the older games were as in register your cd offline or preferably no cd key at all. I bought gta iv for ps3 and all the console games you just put your game in and you are good to go. With the pc I had to go through hell just to install gta iv. The first time my gta iv installed perfectly but a couple months back my cd 2 broke so I went to the store and bought another gta iv copy. I tried installing my new gta iv but after all that installing it kept saying some crap that my pc can't run it or whatever the hell it said I don't remember. My pc can handle it perfectly, trust me. Here I am stuck because my gta iv won't start and my cd key from my gta iv copy from the store is giving me crap. I had to go through so much trouble. I even had to look up the pirated version as in the no cd crack or whatever it was called. Finaly I put that stupid no cd crack on my legit BOUGHT$$$$ copy of gta iv just for my game to run. I hope gta v isn't going to be this complicated. Just let me put my game in and play. forget cd registration keys etc etc. I'm not a fan of pirates. I hate the crap pc gamers have to go through when consoles all they have to do is just put there silly game in and they are ready to go. I hope gta V just keeps the instalation simple and sweet that's all I'm saying.
r34ld34l
It is hard to enter CD-Key? CD-Key was all you had in older days. Now you have random DRM. So you are mixing those two. GTA IV uses RGSC, so you just need to log in with your account and that is it, is it not? If not then it is Windows Live problem. Fuzzknuckles
This just comes across, to me, as 'I don't like entering CD keys because it means I either have to buy the game, or find one that's circulating around torrent sites'. Boo f*cking hoo. And also - yes, Steam. Discs will be dead by 2020. Mark my words. nepas, Flachbau and TaviColen123 3 Signatures are dumb anyway. Not sure if it's just me, but everytime I connect to RGSC then start up IV, it always crashes. Only when I choose to play offline, IV runs without any problem. It's not my Internet problem since Windows Live still works, and I logged in Steam to start IV in the first place.
leldoge
Get yourself a console and stay the fu*k away from the PC if you can't even get a No-DVD crack ( for disc maintainmence only). Also, ever heard of steam?

Do you mean playing other games while downloading? Even if you buy games you still have to download games, if not patches. Evan-KCR
lol232
I prefer physical copies, mainly for collections. But seriously, you won't need to insert the DVD to run the game, similarly to LA Noire and MP3, all you need to do is register the product key Online only ONCE, and you're done. You don't need to use the discs, even with the retail disc version, so most likely GTA V will follow the same tradition. You won't need to use the disc every time you launch the game with the retail version of GTA V, mark my words. Coolstream
I hate downloading games from steam, soo laggy. I do buy my games You will need a Steam account to activate the game (I am 99% sure this game will use Steamworks) and if you buy the physical copy, the only thing you'll have to download is the day one patch. After that, hopefully you'll be able to do the little trick where you don't need to have Steam running to execute the game (Simply by running the .exe file in the game's folder)
Costar
Well an online CD key registration requirement is not a problem for me. If I remember correctly, for GTA IV, R* even offered an offline CD key activation file. Though more and more ppl have some form of internet these days, its worse with games that force you to be connected to the internet for the entire duration of your gaming session, EVEN for SP. There are some that require you to maintain a constant inet connection whilst playing the game. So you cant play it on your laptop whilst traveling for example, (lest you have a reliable wireless connection) nor can you play it at some other location where a consistent inet connection is unavailable. Now that really sux.

Assassins Creed 2 was infamous for doing exactly this, requiring a continuous internet connection despite being a single player only game Cforumlbgfeva

Fireboyd78
Ubisoft is really big on DRM stuff, and last I checked Rockstar doesn't do that crap. Why should GTA be any different? Edited June 21, 2014 by CarLuver69
Sprunk1995
Hello, Installing Grand Theft Auto V will go this way : -1- Game installation. -2- Start the game. -3- Social Club pops in-game to activate your serial code (only one time) -4- You're good to go. Everything will be so simple don't worry, however, if you have some problems with launching Grand Theft Auto IV, try contacting Support : [email protected]
