Apartment Or Garage?

I don't know whether to get a garage or an apartment and if you say to get an apartment then should i get 0325 South Rockford or the Dream Tower?

As long as you have a garage for your vehicles. Apartments are a luxury, garages are a must.

under my 1st character own two Apts, 1 is the most expensive one at weazel plaza, the other is the most expensive one in the game (500k one) between the two i would pick anything at Weazel, its a lot quiter

 

My second Character owns 2 10 car garages the cheapest one in cyprus flats, and the most expensive one in Murrietta Heights either of these two i like, but i would favor Murrieta Heights because it is closer to LSC and Ammunation and has easy access in and out of town

When you play alone - doesn't matter if you have apts or garags.

I have 1 apartment and 1 garage. I don't need more than one apartment, I only have one for a place to change outfits. For the second location I just got a garage so I could get a safe place to park vehicles that was away from the warzones near all the apartments since most of the 10-car garage apartments are in roughly the same area.

 

I use the garage as my main location and the apartment I store vehicles I dont use often and I just go there when I need to change outfit.

Yea noticed this yesterday and was driving while stoned and that sh*t was funny lol. But as for the OPs question i would recommend that you buy a high end house so that have somewhere to change your clothes, have access to a shower to wash off the blood, and all the other optional stuff stuff that comes with it(for ex. Beer, wine, whiskey, tv , furniture, & green juice). But if your on a budget and don't care for having a apartment which isn't necessary to have then by all means buy a garage.

I'd like a 10 car garage Apt at the top of the map and 1 in the city at bottom of the map. Then a 10 car garage(preferably) somewhere in the middle of the map. Instead of being stuck with 2 properties in the city which is kinda retarded when the map is as big as it is. But Rockstar didn't think of letting players spread out and live all over the map. For some stupid reason they want everyone in the city.

 

Why 3 properties you ask.? It's simple 20 cars isn't enough when they have a bunch of cool cars that come out or are already out and you keep running out of garage space. 3 properties would be a better limit that I could deal with and not complain. Live in the city with the vacation home in Paletto Bay and a garage for all your criminal activities in Sandy Shores. Make's perfect sense if ya look at it like that.

Until heists are released the apartments are pretty pointless. I'm glad I bought mine in the big money gifting days, because I wouldn't waste my cash on it now.

 

Two 10 car garages are all you really need for now. You can watch TV in your garage if you're into that. Since your mechanic will deliver your cars, and you can change clothes at any clothing store there's really no reason to go to your apartment at all.

i live at 3 Alta St.(in the center of the city) out side i have an easy gang attack (4 creates 2 combat MGs and 2 ammos)

plus close to shops and paint and spray

my race car garage is in South Shambles St with three gang attacks and a route between them that allows me to grab a gang payote

90% of the time(i drive a baller payote)

I own the same two . Both are good locations for all of the reasons you mentioned. Plus an LSC right between them.

To answer the post title, I have to say, I have one of each and find that I never use the apartment except in very rare occasions.

One of those occasions is to host an Apartment Invite in a crowded lobby, as I know how much I like to see them pop up when I'm stuck out in the middle of nowhere and just want to get back to the city.

It's a handy "ollie ollie oxen free" to other players... just be sure to go into Passive before visiting someone's apartment. You just never know.

OP also didn't ask for people to start berating others for their opinion. the point i made was much more beneficial than the one you just made.

 

i know exactly what OP said, i didnt just start talking about apartments randomly and got lucky that that was the topic of conversation, what i did was state my opinion that neither dream tower of south rockford are worth the money as del perro and alta street are superior, i felt that was implied.

second character: beach apartment (6car) + 6 cat garage in BC.

 

apartment have closets & you can invite people without having to buzz them in.

 

garages hold cars.

I have two luxury apartments(Richards Majestic 51 and Weazel Plaza 70).I would recommend getting a luxury apartment as a first property(you can change clothes in them,watch TV,invite a stripper and other stuff),but a second property can be either another luxury apartment or a 10 vehicle garage.I personally chose another apartment because it´s across the street from my first apartment.
