It took a while to figure out the understeer but releasing the gas + tapping brakes helps a lot on tight turns. Also don't lower it to the max. It tends to get caught on sidewalks if you slam it and makes the understeer worse. I have it at the 2nd to last suspension drop. It's a fun car. It's my choice for invite only free roam cruising and drifting.
