Heists Officially delayed - Again

Honestly, I'm fine with the delay. No one likes an unfinished product. And Heists have some serious hype to live up to. I'm glad as long as they keep adding packs such as the ones we've gotten so far.

This is a f#cking joke why don't they realise that until they release heists money glitching will be at an all time high, without heists the most efficient way to make money is to grind the same mission over and over again (eg Coveted).

 

They've delayed them for the last f#cking time, remember two guys tried to sue them for not releasing them soon enough well now they have a legit reason to do so, In the right court they could sue them for millions. These two guys sued I think because heists didn't come with the actual game but R* never said they would be in online right away so their case was regarded as invalid well now they actually have evidence of R* saying they would be released this spring, I can't find the article since they most likely removed it or something but I know every one of you has seen and read it before.

 

They're saying they're very sorry for the release of the heists and I can understand that they're not delaying them out of spite but everyone's cutting them the same bit of slack that EA got and look what happened to them, R* aren't any different than EA in terms of the fact that they're both game producing companies, What entitles them to a second chance anyway?

 

''we have lots more in store coming your way soon'' what another weird themed DLC that doesn't ahve anything to do with anything. If I recall correctly a whole bunch of the community wants the Dukes back but they give us a smart car instead, No one was wanting a car that barely produces 90 horsepower in the real world. Whats next a DLC thats aimed towards the Emo's and goth's, I can see it now 'Feast on your opponents blood as you mash their heads in with the new cat skull melee weapon'. Where's the DLC's that everyone wants like a muscle/greaser DLC (Dukes, Superchargers and the ability to make your character buff and muscle car wheelie ability), Import/Street Racer DLC (Brings back the old Jester, Elegy, Infernus and many more famous JDM's also brings Nos and introduces the new JDM car class for all the Tuners) there's actually a forum for this specific DLC here and a Lowrider DLC (Savannah, Remington, Hydro's and more gang clothes) also quite a lot of players want an emergency or artillery DLC.

 

I'm not trying to start an argument or anything I'm just saying what needs to be said.

Well, they kind of owe us a key feature that they advertised in a game we bought tbh.

 

Well they don't really seeing as heists were never advertised as part of the initial release of the free part of the game.

 

Uh, how were they not? They were shown in the initial trailer for the GTAO, how's that not advertised?

 

That little tagline that says "content may change prior to release"

 

 

How does that mean it wasn't advertised? The trailer was an advertisement for the game, in the trailer heists were shown as a selling point, hence, heists were advertised to be in the game.

At this point I'd rather get on with a mission creator, I mean if they are going to continue to delay heists just give us the rest of the creator stuff. Then we could just set up missions ourselves and wont need the heists. Plus playing around with the creator is fun anyway, heists will just be missions. The creator will last longer than any mission would.

Uh, how were they? Charaters arsing about outside a bank is hardly an indication of a heist. Off the top of my head, there is a capture at the bank and there are probably a couple other jobs in that area. But feel free to jump to wild assumptions and pass them off as fact.

 

 

Except for the part where they specifically say, "Band together and form a crew, tackle a heist"

Can't they just fix the things currently wrong with the game THEN go back to making new content.

 

R*, stop making races and deathmatches and captures. We can make those. Make Contact Missions.

 

The whole Jobs system is completely unbalanced in the difficulty:reward ratio not to mention there are some very difficult low level jobs and very easy high level jobs. You took the time to adjust 2 missions just because PEOPLE WERE PLAYING THEM! Can't you spend some time making the other missions worth doing?

 

Edit: The R* response is pinned to the top of the Comments at the end of the "I'm Not A Hipster" Newswire article. I can't believe they finally had the balls to apologize for continually deceiving us.

Deadlines for software are estimates not guarantees and if you ever believe otherwise it's your own damn fault.

It will be a simple scripted mission anyway.

Not even a least bit surprised that they delayed them as the whole heists spring plan didn't seem right from the get go. At this point i really just don't care about the "heists" as everyone is overrating the hell out of it. If and i mean if we ever get them, you know theres gonna be a never ending string of ungrateful pr*cks who will come on here and complain that either it doesn't pay enough, its too hard or im already bored of doing heists and want more like a spoiled child at toys r us. No i live in london. If ur under 18 u could work in stores lile asda, tesco or mini shops and get paid 4£ an hour which is bad but do that for 6 hours a day for 5 days a week and youll have 120£ for 5 days work. Minimum wage is £4 and younger people get less becoz u dnt need the cash

FWIW, I'm not saying gtav isnt a good game, I like the game I really do. I LOVE gta series and been playing it since GTA 3. But R* as a company right has been really disappointing. Too many set dates (excuse me, too many set time frames) for content to be released and we haven't got crap but some sh*tty paint jobs, tire smoke, same crap weapons new pistol and new rifle, like yeah we need another pistol thats STILL inferior to the AP pistol, and wow yet another assualt rifle.
