Heists Officially delayed - Again

they will be just a variation.... the core mechanics wont be altered, it´s either shoot.... shoot again, pretend that you have a hacking system by playing minigames, and go home.

Everyone run for your lives because it's the end of the world. Still no heists means Armageddon is on the way. Ok seriously stop crying about the stupid heists not being out yet in separate threads. Go use the bitch and moan thread where this is supposed to be posted. I'd rather they fix the game to where we stop getting kicked from lobbies or missions for no reason. After that then they can worry about building casino's and putting heists in to where we can rob the bank.

 

Stop crying about heists already. If you can't stop then give us your gamer tags. That way those of us who are tired of your bitching about heists can put bounties on you daily.

Especially with money being hard to find, all these "back to GTAV" and "back to free roam" events just make it frustrating.

Why I get frustrated is because it's an amazing game, but sometimes hard to enjoy for me because of all the crap outs. Never had this with any other game, except maybe SimCity on release week because that was a damn disaster.

But they do need to impress. Positive reviews for heists mean an increase in stragglers returning to the game, which leads to an increase in their long term revenue - shark cards. I actually think the staggered release of DLC was for this reason, and I don't think we'll see heists for another 30-90 days even if it's ready.

Do you really think people are buying shark cards, with all the glitches around to make millions in a day, duplicate cars and stuff?

 

Anyway, I see a big disappointment when these heists come out. The huge "OH JUST THAT???" festival will be a big parade, specially when you have a 18+ game filled of 7 year old kids.

 

I would prefer a new single player content to close the chiliad UFO case. The game itself is defined and heists wont change the very limited core mechanics.

He is right though. No matter how good a game is hype can kill it instantly. A company could develop the best game in the world but if it's hyped up then it will be disappointing. Trust me, having low expectations allows you to enjoy more stuff.

I don't lower anything, I don't scrape by the bare minimum in life. If i did i wouldn't be successful today. I respect good gameplay. When something is good, there is no denying it. Hyped or not.

I have purchased two cards since the game release, and I imagine others have as well, otherwise they would've nerfed mission payouts further.

I'd rather just pay $20, since my time is more valuable than that. Right now I have enough stuff that I'm just playing normally.

 

The average player does not spend his time researching how to glitch. The average player just signs on and plays.

 

There is no advantage to lining it up with the release of next gen - if it happens that way it'll be a fluke - ideally you want your existing customer base to be excited by the new graphics etc and buy the game again - not be distracted by a new update.

Going on a forum dedicated to a franchise made by your hated company and being ungrateful for what is already a superb and game. You didn't pay for GTA Online. The access came with buying GTAV.

All of it has been free so far, and will be for the foreseeable future. Before you start saying it is boring grinding to buy that super car, remember you can easily drive the same car in Single Player for free. It is only because you want to show off to others but do not feel like putting in the effort to buy it on Multiplayer.

 

Good fans wouldn't turn into babies after being apologized to about a promised upcoming feature. I don't like to use the word 'entitled', but that is what many people here are.

Many people cried about the loss of their beloved Rat Loader (which was a piece of crap, btw) despite the fact they shouldn't have been able to keep it in the first place. But Rockstar listened to the community and let you have it back all for free for a long time.

 

Rockstar are aware of the current problems. Every patch fixes many things that people have found and told them about, but the complaints just keep coming.

 

My biggest irritation is that people think that server issues and coding errors can be fixed by the click of a button. It takes a lot of time and work to maintain servers and fix problems. Give them time and be patient.

If you are such a coding genius, head over to their main office and fix everything for all of us.

 

I do not mind waiting for Heists, because crying about it will not make them come any faster. So you're just going to have to officially wait for Heists.

If Heists and all the content was provided straight away, people get bored much quicker. The game was very unstable back in October and Rockstar are still trying to fix long-standing issues. They have not forgotten.

BAM! Good Job! I have been playing this series since the FIRST game. I don't complain NEARLY as much as the people that just started playing with SAN ANDREAS, or III...

 

The last time I complained and said GTA sucks was when DRIVER one first released. I apologized when Driver 2 released. (Remember Driver 2? LOL!)

I'm going to be quite honest, but I think this is almost definitely one of the biggest issues with heists being delayed. It's probably the hackers as well, after all, Rockstar wanted their game to work well, but reading that two day old review isn't favourable at all, and even though I like Rockstar, it looks like they continue to be a sh*thole when it comes to management.

 

Man if I could I would buy those guys a beer. I am also in a developing/programming job, but don't have higher ups that treat me like a number. Bad planning is kind of unavoidable though. If you are in software any kind of plan should be called a guess instead because "in theory it should be easy to code this" but then issues start brewing in other parts of code that you never foresaw. I've had plans for code that would only take a week to complete and it took me a month, same for some projects that followed.
