Heists Officially delayed - Again

Heists finally arrive, get played for a couple days then most stop caring about them. Theres no way they live up to the hype and the wait at this point. Get over it guys.

It's simple guys, don't listen to the hype, forget about heists. Doing that will hopefully lower your expectations and then you will be able to enjoy them when they come out.

I think thats why everyone likes the hipster update so much, because R* didn't leave it dragging which ment no hype, It was just a nice surprise and heists will be the same if people dont get too hyped up about them

All I got to say is with the way Rockstar is going, Dice will come out with heists first.

 

 

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about:

 

 

lmao $60 for a mod using elements from previous games. Visceral sure knows how to take a page from EA.

 

 

They had to keep with the Battlefield theme and this is moving it to a different battlefield, the War on Crime.

Now the only thing Visceral is even doing in this title is the campaign. They were only hired by Dice to do the single player while Dice does the online multi-player. That has to be one of the biggest reasons why I'm interested in this game. Because there is one entire studio devoted solely to single player.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now as for GTA hiests, I think that people are getting so worked up over them that no matter how good they are when they come out, people will still be disappointed. So I'm just going to enjoy GTA:O for what it is and not for what is isn't.

From my understanding Heists won't be farmable as you will have to use the JP you earn on jobs/missions to "unlock" the heists.

It wouldn't be hard to accumulate the jp needed if it's around the 75 jp number that people were throwing around the second-last time we were told heists would be landing soon.

The reason I am disappointed is all these new vehicles and stuff, I don't have the money to buy the upgrades and cars and I really don't feel like grinding for it either with the current, low paying and annoying missions.

I believe they do...15 a misson, methinks.

I'm not surprised at all. They probably won't release heists until PS4/Xbone/PC release and they know it. But of course they won't tell us now. Heists are good for pushing the "next" gen (and PC) versions of the game. R* is the Mr. Krabbs of the videogame developers.

 

It sucks for all the people that keep waiting and waiting and are really looking forward to it (and probably get disappointed in the end since heists got hyped up so much). I for one won't buy the game again and don't give a sh*t about heists.

We need story mode DLC. I was kind of disappointed the story was over so quickly. San Andreas had 101 missions I think. GTA IV had over 80. GTA V has 69. And we need more side activities too. Edited June 20, 2014 by LightningLord411

When I finished story mode, I was like 'wait what, that was quick' and I wanted single player DLC pretty badly.

Now I've been playing GTAO so much, I'm actually completely disinterested in the original characters.
